    Mornin' BBB.

    Last day of 3 yr contract with Heart&Paw. I plan to stay on but DW is quitting after New Year's. It will just be me and a new doc we just hired. Interestingly enough I have been offered a position at another practice, which I would consider if it weren't within the radius of my non compete clause in my contract.
    Hope the COVID couple are feeling better. Tucker too.

    So glad I'm not at the National Open field trial in Austin, Minnesota. Cold and snowy. I am feeling the cold snap we are currently having in CT. I used to have antifreeze in my veins, but no longer. Not since I turned 55.

    G'Morning!

    Starting to feel human again! No more fever; lots of rest past few days; still lingering congestion. Tucker finally eating (thanks, Doc!!). DW still about same. DMIL called upstairs last night to say she had sore throat and congestion. Made her swab w/ @home test. Lo' and behold - she too is positive! UGH! No one has left the house since Tuesday. Amen for instacart!

    Sadly - going to miss one of my best friends 50th birthday tomorrow. Ugh.

    Laying low after a few calls this morning.

    Hope Arthur subsides, Sam!

    I'm sorry DMIL picked up the crud too, Skip. But now y'all can sit on the couch together watching Hallmark movies. 🤣

    • All of the Hallmark movies are Christmas themed now. Don't ask me how I know.
    • Those 3 years went quickly Lee. I remember when you were contemplating the deal.
    • Preparing for a cold weather lunch ride with my BMW buddies tomorrow. Layers and a heated jacket liner.
    • I wonder how Steph is doing in Cuba.

    Hard frost, but crystal clear sky in Tumwater this morning. Great weather for star gazing when you take your dog out for her morning business.

    Glad you’re improving Skip. Sorry about your dmil.

    Need to shop for a new heating pad. The one we have was purchased in the PX in Germany when DW was pregnant with our son, 35 years ago. Guess we got our money’s worth.

    Good Morning,
    DW gone to doctor then Walmart then grocery store, should be back a little after lunch.
    I've started cleaning house, having a few masons and their families over tomorrow late afternoon.
    Sunday after church going to DD's for DGS's birthday party and then will have to bring DMIL back home.
    It has been a pleasant week and half; DD has called daily informing us about DMIL antics and how to handle some.
    Skip, glad you are improving sorry DMIL has tested positive now.
    Ask doctor if I needed another booster yesterday, he did not think so but recommends one yearly, says it is something we are going to live with just like flu.
    Lee, glad you are free and have options; how wide a range is non complete clause and sometimes they can be broken.
    DMIL borrowed our heating pad then cannot find it, I have a heated throw that works great.

    We have some white stuff coming down out of the sky again this morning. Abut 3 inches on ground now. Cold though 26F. Must be winter in Wisconsin

    Hope Skip. and DW DMIL gets lots of naps in again today. Sleep is a good recipe to get well.
