Well today is the last day of our 3 year contract with Heart&Paw. I will try to stick around at least another 3 years, but maybe not. I have already been offered a position somewhere else. I would miss my clients, but I am quickly getting frustrated with the level of inefficiency we have devolved to.
Is anyone using the MFP free food tracker? I am using my Fitbit app now, but I just went into the MFP tracker yesterday to play around and now if you want the ability to scan barcodes, you must pay for the premium. I guess it is a smart move on MFP's part to increase paying members, but if I am going to pay for a tracker, I would go back to WW. That is not likely to happen though, I am still super annoyed with WW for continuing to charge my card after I discontinued my subscription and repeatedly contacted WW about the problem. This went on for three months. I had to cancel my card to make it stop.
Never got to my yoga session yesterday. After running some errands and doing some training with the girls, I got home and I was pretty fatigued. I didn't feel great the day before and suspect I was fighting off whatever creeping crud that has been going around. Thank goodness for tylenol ER, I routinely take two just before retiring for the night. Feeling a bit brighter today.
Is Arthur your pet name for arthuritis, Sam? Maybe the cold snap is what is affecting me as well.
How is Connie feeling?
Be OP ;-)

Good morning!
I have been fighting Arthur the last several days with this cold snap and low pressure system. My fingers and hip just hurt. I also think that I might be trying to come down with what Connie has had for the last almost two weeks.
I'm finally starting to make some headway at work. It has been frustrating. Lee, I hear you about how things have devolved. I too have thought of moving, but I am just too old, and too close to retirement. I am going to continue the fight. I am not willing to "coast out" on a 40+ year career.
I have the fishing line thing in my hearing aid. It took a while to get used to, and I still feel irritation at times, but usually I don't notice or think about it. It is scary to think you might lose a hearing aid. Even with the fishing line, I have dropped it out of my ear while putting on a cap, or even taking my glasses on or off. It is too expensive to lose.
Today's temperature is supposed to set a record for the lowest high temperature on this date. We are looking at a high of 27 today. Then, next week is supposed to be in the 50s.
Have a great day!0 -
I forgot to add. I have been a premium member of MFP for a few years now. If you are seriously tracking I think that the cost is worth it. Otherwise, I'm not sure what added benefits you really get. I don't know if I will renew next time or not. No matter the platform I'm on, I am just not into tracking my food.0

Good morning gentlemen.
Logging in with my phone. Every now and then I can’t get in with my laptop. I hate typing on my phone. Sigh.
It’s a chilly 25 here in Tumwater but with beautiful clear skies and spectacular stars. I paused to gaze up when I took Sassy out.
Hip/glut pain eased enough to take Sassy out for two miles yesterday. That’s about my limit. Pretty sad for the guy who enjoys 20-mile hikes. I have a video with stretches and exercises to help my issues. Waiting for the x-ray report before I do anything, though.0 -
Good Morning,
Arthur is arthritis and meds generally work to keep at bay, this cold spell along with my painting, pulling carpet and installing showers has shoulders and back in knots. Rest has not helped this time.
Working on cleaning house today and preparing for gathering tomorrow, expecting about eighteen.
Sunday will pick up DMIL, has been a pleasant week and half.
Most programs require tracking to work, in fact I believe a program would not be required if one would just track what they ate. We all know what we should and should not eat, tracking and seeing it written down is a wakeup call like a slap in the face.0 -
Good Morning
Arthur is like that house guest that comes each fall and quickly reminds you how annoying he is and you wonder if he will ever leave.
I use the MFP tracker and pay for the premium which is not much, especially compared to WW. I don't always use it well though. But I agree, just tracking toward a reasonable goal will generate results. I have started to supplement it by working on the emotional journey of pain management. Yesterday, I planned the Thanksgiving menu and shopping list and, without much thought, decided to do the shopping. I might have jumped the gun on that one.0 -
Dave: Glad ya got out for a 2 mile walk with Sassy! I think I have arthritis in one finger joint that hurts like a searing iron at times. Not fun.
Mostly doing ok painwise, so that is good.
Chill here this a.m. but warmer than Tumwater
Had movie night at DW's "BFF"'s house last night. Fun time.0
