Still holding Mike and the affected families in my Ts and Ps. My wife and I had bad colds in mid September but were negative for four covid tests. We are hoping that betwen some acquired immunity for that one plus our covid and flu shots we might be ok. We also practice some masking where needed etc.
In some locations I see some masks but it is certainly more hit and miss. I suspect I got the bad cold going to the Dermatologist's office where I unmasked for awhile in the chair.
Threatening for a snow flake at "valley floor" a few times but only felt one count 'em one snowflake melt on my cheek . There is a "maybe" for tomorrow. Not that much moisture around. 32-33degrees here this a.m.
Hope Dave did ok with his check up yesterday.
Hope Lee is finding some lubricating oil for his creaky joints and everyone else too.

Nice calm sunny morning here, albeit cold. Have my hiking boots on and heading out the door. Deer season here, so will be selective where I go.

Replaced the two broken casters on the Sr. Ctr. piano and found they stick out farther than the old ones, so I had to order two more. Had to take off the floor board and pedals to get at the caster fittings.

Good Morning

We enjoyed a rainy day yesterday. Less than an 1" but it was a nice change. Morning ground fog has burned off and we should be wet through the weekend though not much. Thankfully the Sierras are getting snow. I am taking it easy today and just straightening up to helpfully allow things to settle down physically. The contractor I met with looked good till he followed up with a text about the amount of cash he would like at signing, almost half the project. We are looking at other options and slowing things down a bit, though we are cashing out some savings to be ready to roll. Saw some snow out the windows of a couple of folks on my Morning Prayer Zoom meeting. They are on Vancouver Island. I like seeing other peoples snow without having to experience it personally.
