Rise and shine out there...
Yesterday's playoff game was a thriller despite the steady 50º rain, and we beat New Hampshire. Next week they play So Dakota State I believe. First time little ole Holy Cross has ever gone this far... DGS scored 2 TDs and ran about 180 yds. Woot!
Bill, that seems like very good news from the MRI that they ruled out stroke. Glad to hear.
Driving to Melrose today, near Boston, for another DGD's performance, doing ballet in the Nutcracker. The Carolling concert last night was fun; glad I went.
Some cold weather out west--too early for ice fishing yet, so you can keep it awhile.

I got a bunch of small projects done yesterday. I'm procrastinating on the leaves. I think that I'll have to work on them this afternoon.

Sunny cold day on tap here. Drying out from yesterday's rain. Pot luck game dinner at the club today. I am bringing buffalo pheasant. Basically pulled pheasant in buffalo wing sauce served with blue cheese dressing on a hoagie bun. Easy to prepare and gives a guy a warm feeling coming out of the cold.

The pheasant sounds good, Lee. I loast6 ate pheasant around 1958. My dad worked with a lot of foresters who were hunters, and they used to give us game.
I hope ESPN carries the next playoff game, Mike. I want to watch.

Good Morning
Heather was under the weather so a quiet day yesterday except for a few errands. Christmas prep slowed too. I hope to get back on it today for a bit. At some point we are celebrating my birthday. I am content with a quite meal. But it seems we have to do something so I always say ok the movies, then “which movie”. I roll my eyes and wander off. More cold wet weather on tap for a a couple more days. Not an impressive amount of rain but we’ll take it. Wi had me down almost 3. A bit of a surprise so I will not get too attached to the number, but I like the ongoing direction of the last 4 weeks. I just need to be extra careful today.0 -
I too am glad about your MRI Bill. We had snow today but not sticking at my elevation. We are about 250 feet below the sticking snow elevation for today. Top of the hills about 3 inches but here nada with hardly a skiff.
And yes I rode my studded tires on my bike today. Gotta stay safe.0
