Good morning!
I do remember December 7. In 1984 I had a chance to see the Arizona memorial. Once you see it, you never can forget. Thank you to all of you who have served in the military. I appreciate your sacrifice.
Sam, it sounds like you do have a lot going on. I'm glad that you are feeling better and can do these things. I have put down flooring before. That is not easy on knees.
Connie is speaking for MADD tonight in Olathe, Kansas. I will be driving her there. I generally speak with law enforcement while she is speaking.
I generally leave each morning for work just before 6:30. We won't get home until after 8:30 tonight. It makes for a long day. I'll get home from work this afternoon about a half hour early. I'll grab something to eat real quick, and then we leave about a half an hour after I get home from work.
Bill, I am glad to hear that you are feeling better, as well.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
Pearl Harbor Day. Almost a death blow to the US pacific theater presence.
Hopefully this will not trigger any Asian hate events.
I would argue that a fitbit or its equivalent, not only measures steps but also monitors heart rate and sleep. So a person like Sam, who is uber active, would be able to tell if his activity is getting his heart rate into fat burning or cardio zones and not only how much sleep but the quality of his sleep. Monitoring sleep is the main reason I got my fitbit.
Good to hear every one is feeling a bit less achy, me included.
That is a long day, Steve.

Morning.
Pouring rain here this morning. My FitBit died a few months ago, probably the battery went. Finished the woodworking repairs on my canoe yesterday, satisfied with the results. Might not be using it until spring at this point, as we are moving toward winter sports season.
My folks all remembered Pearl Harbor, now only my older cousin Marie is still around. She was a girl, but when the war ended she was a teenager, and she remembers the joyous celebrating in town when the war was over. Really two wars, Europe and Japan. I marvel, how did the US fight in both wars at the same time? Aiding European allies was monumental enough, then battling across the pacific as well?
The is a long day, Steve... hope you'll get caught up soon.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
The weather will still be cooler than average, but it will be dry. I'll take Sassy for a walk, for sure. Both of us need to get out in the fresh air. I expect my hip to bother me, but so it goes.

Good Morning
A cool but fairly clear winter day ahead. We should have some rain moving in tomorrow sometime and staying for a bit which would be nice. Busy day ahead. Kitchen is getting measured for an estimate for the cabinets as one our our quotes. Then "the guy" is coming to finally get that hood installed. I will try and do some cleaning etc around this so we can decorate this week. I actually need to put together a "So you want to move to Florence OR" binder or ?? to keep track of all the info we are gathering and timelines etc. My ability to recall details isn't what it once was back in my days in Finance.0 -
