    Good morning!

I realized that I never checked in yesterday.

I'm certainly glad that today is Friday. I continue to make slow progress on catching up. Tricia, our newest person in the office did the bulk of the hourly payroll yesterday. I spent some time training her, but she is such an asset already. Her being there is taking a lot of pressure off me.

It has been cold and wet here now for a couple of days. We really need the rain, but we only got .05 inch yesterday. That won't go far.

My aches and pains are up with the weather. They are manageable, but I am reminded that getting old ain't for sissies.

    Have a great day!

    G' mornin'

Clear, cold morning with thick frost everywhere. We've had a fair amount of rain this fall, including several extended downpours with rivers getting near flood level, and yet the city is still in drought mode because the reservoirs are so low after last summer's very extended dry spell. I'm ready for some real snowshoeing snow...

I might stay over DD's house while they're away in So. Dakota watching DGS play football. The game will be on ESPN and I will try to see if I can make sense of their TV system, which requires a PhD to turn it on. What ever happened to TV's with a channel dial and a volume control?

Going to cut back on sugar and honey in my food. I do need a tsp. of sugar in the morning coffee but that should be it for the day. And Christmas season is a challenge with people showing up with cookies, etc.

    Have a good day everyone....

    Good morning gentlemen.

Cold rain and wind, here. Just nasty. I feel sorry for soldiers out training in this stuff.

We'll do some shopping, today. Still have nothing for the grandkids for Christmas. No adult presents are exchanged in our family.

I'll call the physical therapist clinic today, to set up appointments. I don't know what they can do about degenerative discs, but I'm willing to give it a try. My pain is more on the annoying, rather than debilitating, level. I limp, but I get around.

    Good Morning

Dave, for degenerative discs they work on flexibility in the hips, hammies, piriformis, etc and some strength. They should also try to get you not to limp since that creates other problems for the hips. That was the first thing they addressed when I walked in. There may be some spasmed muscles to work on as well.

Steve, I am glad Tricia seems to be working out so well!

I ended up having a rough day yesterday but seem to have leveled off today. I am calling my pain Drs office today to tell them I have a copy of a letter from my Cardiologist to my primary care saying I did not have a stroke in August and see if she will then schedule a procedure to knock the pain back down. Just cleaning and organizing a bit today so we can decorate the tree etc now that the living room is not being used for storage and staging.

    Afternoon gents.

Freezing my cajones off in Canesteo NY. Trying to warm up in the truck while the judges decide on call backs.
Glad Tricia is working out for you, Steve
TV systems these days can be challenging if the are using a firestick or the like.
Hope the pain management doc can make a good tweak on your current regimen, Bill.

    Be OP ;-)
