    Good morning!

I got October closed yesterday at work. Now I can start on November. I am gaining traction.

Connie is speaking at a media event this morning sponsored by the Kansas Department of Transportation. She is allowed 5-7 minutes. I won't be going with her to this one. The event is to raise awareness of impaired driving going into the holidays.

Four or five years ago, Connie and I purchased a hot tub to help me with my arthritis. I hardly use it anymore. I have maintained it, but for some reason, I just have not used it. I know it would help me, just as I know that Yoga would help me. Perhaps I just need to "force" myself and see if that helps me. I think it is really just laziness?

Today is payroll day at work so I have a lot going on today.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

A functional hot tub being matained and not being used? Is it the time factor?
I've been delinquent posting. Sunday swapped the mowing deck off my wee tractor for the snow thrower. That is always a bit off an operation involving me getting up and down on the cold hard ground multiple times. Aggravated lots of aches and pains.
Got snow thrower on just in time for 5 inches of snow.
Looking forward to a relaxed Christmas.
Sam, life with DMIL is definitely an experience.
Dave, glad no one was hurt with the rambunctious dog pack, but I agree with the shillelagh idea.

    Be OP ;-)

    Morning…

Somehow I’ve not posted since Saturday. DD had me over for dinner and birthday cake last night. Other DD having a bunch of family Saturday for a cookie making party/birthday celebration for me, will see many of the grandkids.

We had a few inches of snow Sunday night and it’s staying cold, and ponds are freezing up. Maybe soon we’ll be icefishing again.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Chilly but dry, again, today. I'll get out with Sassy, I am sure.

We managed to buy enough stuff for the grandkids to not shame ourselves as grandparents.

Planning ahead for our early Christmas dinner - on the 21st. We'll go the easy route, with ham, Pop's special mac and cheese, corn pudding, rice, and some sort of dessert. Interestingly enough, the extended weather forecast calls for rain on the 25th, but we could have up to 9 inches of snow on the 21st, so the kids should get a white Christmas - sort of.

    Good Morning,
Cold with lite drizzle this morning, heavy rains tonight will see freezing temperatures by weekend.
Morning yoga classes are getting smaller where Tuesday evening have maxed out space.
Heading out to Aldi and Costo to get fruit and treats for baskets for widows; also need to decide what we will be feeding kids and grands for Christmas Eve.
Tomorrow will get back installing flooring, need to pickup molding but need a truck
Wish y'all would keep cold up north, Arthur does not like

    Good Morning

it was 29 at 8am this morning. That is unacceptable. With the dampness from the rains it keeps me in touch with my joints

I finished the inside decorations yesterday feeling very stiff and achy but satisfied. But near the end I came to discover water coming from under the refrigerator. I was so hoping for a chance to move the fridge and get down on my hands and knees and explore. The water line connector into the fridge drips slowly and more so when refilling the ice maker. It appears to be the quick release compression connector for the 1/4" tubing. Hopefully I can take it off, cut the tube and make a new connection. Otherwise tomorrow I will go in search of a new part at the Appliance Parts store nearby or online. I just need something to last until we redo the kitchen to sell this place. With my son's help we will put all the Xmas boxes back into storage. Hopefully I will be able to handle the ladder work if I just stay put up there and he hands them up to me. It is a bit of an art getting them back in to their allotted space.
