Piano class this morning. It will be at a nearby home instead of at the senior center--maybe the piano will be in tune, a novelty. Christmas tunes and snacks with tea. Sr. Ctr. has a tight budget, but since I repaired the legs on the piano they have promised to finally call the tuner.

Walked a mile or so on Audubon Soc. trails yesterday. Walking again today, mebbe on the rail trail in town, then tonight Indian food at DS's. I don't particularly like Indian cuisine so that will be a portion control assist.

Bill, remembering you & family in prayers. Hoping your COVID is mild.

    Good morning!

We are supposed to have blizzard conditions here this morning. It was 2 degrees with heavy wind and snow when I drove in to work. The fastest I drove on I-70 was 45. It is hard being this old and having the sphincter control to not poop my pants. I do not like driving in snow and ice, especially when it is dark and blowing snow. At least there was not much traffic. They said that the worst would hit KC between 6:00 and 6:30, so I left home at 5:30. I got to work just after 6:00. Really not that bad all things considered. The snow is supposed to stop about noon, so it will just be windy and cold. Wind chills are expected to be -35 or worse with blowing snow. I also know that I am starting year 3 with these tires. I will be changing them out before next winter if I can just survive this winter.

I felt that it was important to get to work today because we have multiple payrolls this week.

Bill, holding you close in prayer with your COVID.

Dave, advocate for your rights. I pray that you find a therapist that understands YOUR situation and will help you get to the place where YOU want to be with your body.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Nasty weather and driving are two things I have never liked to put together. It's going to be bad here, tomorrow. It's 22 degrees, this morning, will stay below freezing all day and moisture will come in tonight, first as snow, then as freezing rain. We are forecast to get up to an inch of ice tomorrow morning. What a great start to the Christmas weekend, when half the population wants to drive somewhere.

We had a great day yesterday, with DS, DDIL and DGKs here all afternoon and evening. The kids and Sassy opened presents, we played games, feasted and watched a movie. I never found time to feel down. After everyone went home, Rita checked her laptop, though, and had multiple messages from the Philippines, telling her that her brother had just passed away. His health had not been good, lately, so it wasn't a complete surprise, but it was still a sad end to the day.
