    Good morning!

I get the day off work today. Frankie thought that I probably needed to go to work, so she started waking me at 4:30. I rolled out of bed at 5:15. I had hopes of sleeping a little later than that.

House cleaning today, and maybe a couple of small projects. I really would enjoy resting just a bit.

Bill, praying for your complete and swift recovery.

    Have a great day!

Morning gents... Frost on the ground outside.

Wake for Leah yesterday was a sad affair. I go to the funeral today and later will help DS install steam pipe insulation in their basement. Old asbestos fell off ages ago and the natural gas bill will certainly go down if pipes insulated.

DS met up with his swimming buddies yesterday for a "polar plunge" at their usual lake, but it was completely covered over with ice.

    Good morning gentlemen.

    So sad, Mike.

Good luck on the hunt, Lee.

    Enjoy the time off, Steve.

We have the grandkids today. The plan is to take them to the hands-on children's museum, out to lunch, to exchange a video game we game them for Christmas (the already had it) and for a bit of fun at their climbing gym. Seems like a full day to me. Amazed that our grandkids - ages 9 and 7 - have their own climbing shoes, harnesses and chock bags. Granddaughter does routes at the gym that are challenging for adults. They both ski, too. It's a great way for them to stay fit.

    Good Morning,
Yoga class this morning, expected a large class but gym messed up and did not have class on schedule.
Learned this morning that last of father's siblings passed last night, he was youngest of 10.
As I was coming in from yoga class, DW informed me DGS that we kept over weekend tested positive for COVID, so far neither DW nor myself have had COVID thought DMIL has had it twice in our house.
Bill, pray you continue to improve.
Steve, hope year-end goes smooth and quick.
Back to lodge, hope to finish major part of job today.

Yikes Mike Yikes!!! Uh no polar plunge for me thru the ice. I held a dubious record of longest time in some 40ish degree water in a cod spring one time. Now I just say "why".
    Sorry about your friend.
    Hope you are improving Bill.
Yea Dave my son climbed the socks off of me even at my best at rock climbing. Great skier too.
Went to a New Year's Day affair yesterday and hoping there is no COVID issues.
Looks like Lee is "loaded for bear"...well pheasants or ducks anyway.

    Good Morning

I believe Lee is after Bambi this trip.

My eldest son did a drive by to drop off gifts and pick his up along with some food from our feast his mother had packaged. We really didn't get a chance to talk much. He isn't too eager to risk Covid and be off work. I will test again later today as will Heather to make sure she can go back to work. I gotta admit 2 weeks in isolation is wearing on me and the family as well. Things were getting testy last night. I found out my Drivers License expired last month. I misread the DMV renewal which was more about getting a Real ID which I have. My online account at the DMV seems to link to my wife. Something to try and sort out or I will just open another one with a different email.
