Good morning!
Mike, holding your family in prayer.
Bill, I hope that you are feeling better and will be past the COVID quickly.
Dave, I know that you can create some beautiful creations from cherry wood. How did the PT go?
Lee, did you get your venison?
Year end started easy here. I'll take that! I got a good start on it yesterday, and am looking forward to the same today. I am determined to be completely done with year end by January 31. I have a good team helping me this year.
Bill, I know that too much rain too quickly is not good, but will all of this rain help the drought situation in California and the West?
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
O'dark thirty in the stand. Took a small antlerless deer Monday. It will eat well but it won't fill the freezer. Saw more small deer yesterday afternoon, but passed hoping to bag a larger beast. Not interested in antlers.
So sorry about the family discord, Mike. Prayers are uplifted.
NEVER felt the draw to do a polar plunge. Did it once as a training exercise for a military survival course and that confirmed my suspicions that it is just an overall bad idea.
Been eating too much and not really exercising more. Did take my hosts out for a stocked pheasant hunt yesterday morning. That was a hoot and dogs had fun!
I am also not a fan of the DMV. Good you are on track to be out of isolation for Heather's birthday.
Be OP ;-)

Glad Bill's finally getting rain at last. Hope your breathing can get back to normal quickly....
Steve: wishing clear sailing, hopefully, on year-end fiscal adventures!
More drizzle and fog. I have piano chords class today. I am sure it will be great, but I think I maybe bit off more than I can chew time-wise. I will put on the rain gear and go for a long walk at some point.
DB arrived safely in AZ after 6-day road-trip with DSIL and Dorothy their cat. He left his laptop in Tennessee, the hotel will mail it. At least it wasn't the cat.

Good morning gentlemen.
PT yesterday was a good workout, as usual, but he threw in some side lunges that my left knee didn't like. I was limping the rest of the day, and it still hurts coming downstairs.
New coffee maker arrived, yesterday. It was easy to program, so this morning I had coffee waiting when I got up.
Got a trunk load of very wet cherry, yesterday. Wish I could start processing and rough turning it, today, but I volunteered to help take down Christmas decorations at church. Fewer people volunteer to take them down than to put them up, so I suspect this will be an all-day job.
Supper at DS's house tonight.0 -
Good Morning
.
I believe I have turned the corner and am breathing better and the coughing is easing. So one more day/night in my little cave if I still test negative. I want this disease out of my house. I managed to get my license renewed finally so I am road legal again once I go back out on the road. We have the biggest storm yet coming in this afternoon/evening. A lot of this will just run off into the Bay. The ground can't hold much more and we are getting lots of slides. Clay soil gets quite heavy. While this helps it will need to continue into the spring and for a couple of years. 3 years of hard drought is not erased with a few storms. Snow pack is in excellent shape which will help the reservoirs but not completely and the water table is probably beyond recovery. But things are moving in the right direction at least.0
