Good morning.
Prayers for good results on Rita's CT.
February is now full of romance and I'm not accepting any more outings with the wife. Valentine's dinner is booked at a Brazilian gaúcho piza place that opened recently ages we have tickets to see Itzhak Perlman a couple days after our anniversary.0 -
Good Morning,
Yoga this morning
Prep for crown this afternoon
Lodge of Instruction tonight
Hoping for good reports from NW
Glad Dennis is feeling better
Mary I can understand you not wanting to come to Atlanta, 70's and sunny would be quite and adjustment.
Poor pups locked up for what they naturally do.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- After several alarm clock wake ups I got to sleep in this morning.
- I put about 70 miles on the motorbike yesterday. Rode around the lake on my own. Cheaper than a therapist.
- Is Austin getting back to normal Lou?
- Praying that Rita gets some good news.

Good morning BBB friends.
CT scan was done, and we were out the door prior to Rita's appointment time. Had to love that. She's baking sauerkraut and pork for supper tonight. I have to love that, too. Comfort food for my German roots. The key is baking it low and slow.
We'll wait for the doc to call with the results of the scan, so still on pins and needles, a bit. Twice, in the past, Rita's "routine" tests have led to major surgery and long hospital stays. Praying there is no repetition, this time.0 -
Prayed for good news for Rita.
I think we have decided to go to Costa Rica after Mexico. Need to zoom in and make some plans. Flights are reasonable and we can get to Nebraska after for not too terrible of a price.
Of course this all hinges on if we decide to accept the housesit in Mesa again. We really like it there but they would have to agree to let us use their car for Costco trips. They had us drive theirs to keep them charged last year so assume that will be fine. Will reach out to them soon.
Last day of our elimination diet. Cannot wait to eat real food again…making lentil soup. Hopefully it will be an easy transition for Ron.0 -
Evenin' BBB
Staying on 61st floor of the Tropicana hotel in Atlantic City. Stayed in better Red Roof Inns. Some joker set the thermostat to 90 in the room.
Hope to get an early morning board walk tomorrow before starting with meetings.
Dennis, therapy comes in many different ways. This guy likes dogs and the outdoors better than talking to a shrink. Me dad was into shrinks, but he was the son of an alcoholic and he did a great job with his life. Distinguished veteran, Episcopal Priest, dedicated husband and father. Maybe I should talk to someone.
Doing some Yoga in my room before bed now that it has cooled off. Scotch from home is next. Then bed. How do you sleep without dogs?

T & Ps for Rita
Made boneless country ribs in crockpot with a diet coke and BBQ sauce, diced onion. Was good.
I'm onto planning baby boys baseball Brewers themed baby shower with the Brewers game on the big screen, serving tailgate fare. Should be fun! June 3rd.
Sleep tight Lee! And BBB!
Thanks for the Valentine's reminder Lou!0
