    G'Morning

    Temps are all over the place here.

    80's expected tomorrow so realtor is hosting a "Chippin' , Dippin' and Margarita Sippin' pool side Open House. Ugh. I don't care if they have baby chickens roaming the yard - just sell the house already so I have a place to sit down!

    Today is my Friday. Took off tomorrow/Friday to begin long weekend and upcoming trek to FLA.

    Mother Tucker is not going to be happy.

    DMIL is wearing me out and we've not even got to the airport yet. What could go wrong?

    Good morning.

    A Margarita party for an open house? I'm all for being creative, but that seems a bit weird. Don't be too hasty to dismiss the notion of a petting zoo though. People like to envision entertaining in their new home.

    I have freshly dry cleaned shirts! It's the little things, but nothing feels better than a crisp shirt to start the day. That and coffee.

    We have tickets to Itzhak Perlman tomorrow night. She's thinking if taking her laptop to my office with me in the morning and then we'll grab dinner before the show.

    Successfully ordered and received 3 large jugs of water. It’s not as easy at this location. In Cozumel I just told our host and he delivered, in Playa the trucks came around every day or two. Here has been a nightmare…thankfully we started with two. I miss my Berkey.

    We found out yesterday our favorite doggy we have sat for crossed the rainbow bridge. Ron is pretty devastated. Otto was his all time bestie. We spent a good hour looking at photos and videos. We say it on the site we use to find sits so I sent a condolence note. 😥

    I don't think I have ever had a shirt sent out to the cleaners. I've ironed plenty myself, though. Different lifestyles. I do recall fondly "breaking starch" when putting on a fresh set of fatigues back in my early Army days. My trousers and shirts would be starched so stiff you could lean them up against the wall.

    I'll spend more time in the shop, today. I am trying to accomplish something every day.

    I asked an electronics repair shop about fixing my old JVC receiver/amplifier, which quit sending a signal to my even older Bose 301 speakers. With a $100 up-front fee to look at it, then $125 @ hour labor, he said, unless I have an emotional attachment to the receiver, I should just let it go. This all comes from wanting to hook a turntable up, so I can listen to my old albums.

    Large yoga class this morning,
    Need to go pick up Toad, ready yesterday.
    New equipment does so much more for less than repairs.
    Reckon George Washington's Birthday and 22nd got skipped this month
    Take it you are taking DMIL to FL with you; getting her a sitter is a lot less stress.

    I laughed at Skips chickens comment. Though I'm positive his HOA does not allow chickens. I could be wrong.
    Skip Your nosey neighbors are going to come to see your house and have drinks at your pool. Speaking of, whatever happened with the guy across the street banging and yelling at your door???

    My guys send their dress shirts to the Asian dry cleaner lady. Its well worth it. Never wear a wrinkled dress shirt, never!

    Winter storm here, through Thursday they say, oh joy. I looks pretty though.
    All schools are closed.

    My dinner with my sibs for db 66th bday last night was Nice! As we age, we seem to tolerate eachothers so much better LOL. I wrapped and gave my bro his 11 x 17 framed baby picture, he left at our Moms house when we cleaned it out (on purpose) . Dude I don't want it either!!! He thought it was a funny bday gift. Said he was going to put it in his work office and see if his coworkers notice. He trys to be the comedian always.

    I went up north cleaned Reilly’s house. He’s getting ready to list it. The problem is finding something else. He said that he could move back home. NOOOOOO!!!!!!!
