Packing and logistics continue. I think we are on a good path. Stager removes all their crap on Monday. My mover comes in on Tuesday.
Reservations for Hilton begin on 13th.
Close on 17th.
PO Box setup.
Nieces coming to take all the food in pantry and additional glassware; linens; we no longer need.
Locked in new rate for new home.

I'm surviving the conference, but the late nights are stacking up on me. The bourbon tasting went well last night, but I've got to ingratiate myself with the sponsor so I can take him shopping next year. It's hard to convey excitement about sub-par bourbon.
Brisket back ed on me at 5 this morning, so I didn't get as much sleep as I'd have liked.0 -

Found a new cruise to Australia on Princess that is longer and cheaper than the one we are looking at on Royal Caribbean but we can’t take our bikes onboard. Ron is pricing shipping separately. I can’t imagine that will work. Information overload.
It’s a festival here today with indigenous dances all day at the square. Heading up there soon.
There was a fire just outside of our condo complex yesterday. Glad we were home to shut up all the windows. The smoke was terrible. I assume it was a grass fire as there is much open land just beyond the fence. Didn’t walk up there to see as we didn’t want to be in the way/ breathe in more smoke than we already did.

Chilly and damp, this morning. It's 33 degrees and there is some crunchy stuff on the ground from overnight sleet/snow/hail. In the last 30 days, 26 have had below-normal high temperatures. Getting tired of this.0 -

Skip we are still friends with folks we sold house to 2005, they purchased house without seeing it till after closing. A great retired couple from California.
Reckon DMIL will be coming back either this weekend or DW will have to go pickup first part of next week.0 -

My back is killing me. We’re plugging along here. We will be ready Sunday when they start!! Done for the day. I’m ready for pizza and beer. It’s been raining hard all day. Ugh. Our dogs too wonder what’s going on. Ha.

new house not done until LATE mid-late May. Roof went on yesterday. No pool (yet), as HOA only allows for swim spa AND hot tubs. I'll run for the HOA and help rewrite the architectural committee guidelines that allow for appeals. Our lot will accommodate so.....we'll see?
