    Connie spoke for MADD last night. There were about 85 in attendance. I spent the evening visiting with local law enforcement. I am so proud of the work that Connie does to honor our children.

    Work has still been rough, although I am making progress on getting the year closed. I can't believe that I'm still saying that in March. Otherwise at work, nothing is changing, and that is very frustrating to me.

    I'm hoping to get some rest this weekend.

    I missed the grill discussion. I have a Traeger wood pellet grill and I love it.

    Mornin ' gents.

    Would love a Genesis grill, but DW frowned on the price. Thanks for all your input. In all likelihood, I'll pull the trigger on the Charbroil 3 burner tru infrared commercial series with side burner for about $535 at Lowes assembled.
    I also have my camp chef pellet smoker.
    Amazing , the tweaks you can make to make the right sound on a piano wire.

    Morning...

    Bright sunshine this morning. Weight stays about the same, unfortunately. Need to get out and hike more--more often, farther distance, more hills. With days a bit milder it will be easier to get motivated as it begins to feel like springtime again. Never showshoed or skied this winter, or icefished. Those are high energy activities that I normally do every winter, but mother nature has to provide the equipment.

    Will get some fish today at restaurant where DS works...

    Good morning gentlemen.

    I spent the night in the guest room - exiled by my snoring. Since Sassy is banned from the guest room - so any guests won't be plagued by lingering doggy hair - she spent the night sleeping in the hall by the door. The cure to my snoring is to lose about 15-20 lbs. I haven't really worked on my weight for a long while.

    I miss hiking. We have had a really rotten late winter. More cold rain, today, with snow above 500 feet. It never ends.

    I am throwing a couple racks of ribs on the smoker this afternoon, and the clan is coming over for supper and belated birthday cake. I have an electric smoker that gets used about twice a year. It was much more often when I first bought it.

    Heather had a wonderful time singing along to Mamma Mia at the Cinema/Alehouse. I had a wonderful time seeing her so happy. It was raining but not to badly. It was great to get out of the house and not go to a medical thing. Off to PT this morning just after my online prayer group. Still fighting swelling when I exercise but I am also making progress. Hopefully she won't add anymore to the 15 exercises I do 2x a day, but I am going to do my bit and follow the program. I check in next week with the surgeon. Rain, rain and more rain. Thankfully not as bad here as predicted. Flood warnings are back.
