Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

This is an interesting strategy @deskjockey925 💡 My cravings have always tended to salty crunch things like potato chips, popcorn, nuts, pretzels. I am fine if they aren’t in the house, but if they are …. 😬 I did try to make salty crunchy dill pickles available to myself if I felt that craving. It never really worked for me as if the snacky chips are around I am just going to think about them like it is my full time job. 🤓 Last summer I was struggling with nighttime eating and prepped lots of raw veggies and had them available to me at all times. If I was hungry, that was all that was on offer. I did eat more veggies if I was hungry, and it did work to help me get back on track.

Busy day running errands for the wedding. We picked up the rental car at the airport the other night and it only had 5 miles on it (brand new). Since then we've put on over 200 miles just driving to various places to pick up/deliver items for the wedding.

Had to mow the lawn for the first time this season. I forgot how heavy the push mower is even though it's supposed to be self-propelled.

@deskjockey925 - I read an article similar to this about a month ago. They called it the "apple test". The article said, if you were offered an apple, to consider whether you’d say, “Yes, please,” or “Nah, I’m good.” If it’s the latter, you’re probably looking for an emotional fix rather than a physical one.

I have a problem with "emotional snacking". For me the reason is usually boredom. Most times if I can find something to do it takes my mind off the thought that I need a snack unless I am truly hungry.

Weight training day - 90 minutes; clearing the tremendous amount of heavy wet snow in order to drive there felt like twice the workout. 😅 Tracked it all and at base calories.

Interesting topic. I sometimes do this to figure out how hungry I am.
