    A healthy person wants a thousand things, a sick man only wants one!

    Whenever I feel under the weather or have had times in my life that I have been really unwell I always remember this quote and am reminded of how much truth there is to it.

    We my friends are here in this group UAC because we made a decision that we were sick of being sick and we wanted to live a full healthy life! Good on you for not forgetting this and for trying and being committed to living your best life! Kudos to you for understanding the importance of your health and appreciating it!

    Yes sure we are not always perfect and I will be the first to admit that there are days or weeks or even months that could be so much better but we are still here giving it our best shot and that's all that matters! Donna xox

    2.6 mile walk at lunch warm on the way out for walk but much cooler on return trip was glad to be back in the office. Tracked and logged

    Thank you @donna25trinity It’s like you could read my mind today. Such an inspiring opener Donna 😊 Doing all I can to manage myself and the aspects of health that are in my control became my top priority when I joined in August 2021. And that priority remains. Some days are harder than others, but that is why I’m glad to be in the company of so many compassionate and supportive people. 🥰

    4/19/2023 - Lost my mind. Dinner was leftovers with controlled portions. Just wasn't satisfied, and then I lost my mind. First a 130 calorie bag of pistachio's. Nope - that didn't do it..2 cups of skinny popcorn ....salt is satisfied.... now want candy. 3 pieces of candy (like a turtle). Ok done...Yikes

    Was so tired but made a deal with myself to go to the gym: I just needed to stay for 15 minutes of weights after my 10 minute treadmill warmup. Ended up doing the whole double circuit and in total, a 78 minute workout. It felt good to exercise and it did boost my energy level.

    @jamcnewman Wow! Way to go! I use that method for my walks…just 10 mins..by the end of the block, my auto-pilot from the last 7 years kicks in & 90 mins later I’m back home, having completely forgotten the “just 10 mins”
