Grumpy arrived 90 minutes late due to hazy conditions in DC Region.

Then decided to show him how to setup new iPhone for Fathers Day. That was fun🤬🤬🤬.

Have to work a good part of today - so he's on his own to entertain himself. We'll see.

    HH with friends tonight.

Cheers for a great TGIF and Weekend!

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • The car is mostly packed and should leave out in about an hour. DW is dropping me off at Valdosta State and continuing on to FL for the week to spend some time with her DS.
    • I'm hoping what could very well be a challenging week goes smoothly.
    • So the word on the street is Skipper found a mint condition Yugo in a Ukranian barn. Should be at the dealer soon.
    • Good luck with your DM lou.
    • Oh, tech put freon in the heat pump and it is good for a little while but needs to be replaced. At least that gives us some time to plan for the replacement.

    Good morning.

Such ceremony for a Jaguar. Do they have a guy with a cockney accent deliver it directly to your house, Skip?

I believe Skip is trying to fit in with old soccer moms and getting a Volvo or their electric version Polestar.
Safe travels Dennis and Kris, week should not be bad Dennis since Boys State appeals to conservative (nerds).
Lou, hope mom is getting what she needs; hard on her as well as family

    Morning BBB

Wishing you a successful Boys State Dennis. It's awesome that you still do this.

I think we have decided I'll fly to Sioux Falls from our housesit in Mesa for one night sometime this summer. My grandma is in a retirement village there so I can visit her too, which I honestly didn't think would happen again. I invited my sister's to join me but the best flight for me is a Sunday-Monday and it's the week school starts for their kids. Will look for other flight options in July but currently not a cost friendly option for just a one day trip.

This will leave our residence in SD for now and we will look into moving it next time we are in US for a spell. We decided it was just too complicated to move it along with dad getting rid of that address (vanguard uses his address) and the timing of our mailbox expiring (July)

    Good morning

Safe travels Dennis and Kris. You can't stop a Trane in the hvac world.

    Hi Lee, hope you're well!

    Prayers for Lou's mom, too

Hope Dave has the carpenter's on track

Sam, let's hope dmil gets everything worked out for her move.

Happy happy Skip. After all its Father's Day weekend! Grin and bare it... you're lucky you're able to spent it with him. I lost mine back in 1992. Never got to say goodbye.

Sounds like you have a plan Steph. Ron doesn't have to go for one night also?

I'm off to Walmart for some Pikes Place and rv septic chemicals. I'll drink the pikes and pour the chemical down the rv hatch. May stop at some garage sales on way back. It's our village sale weekend. Heading to lake at 3pm. Ds2 ddil dgd and a friend went last night. Hoping to use our new hummingbird fish finder on Sat.

    Have a good day BBB

Good morning BBB friends (still morning in PDT).

Got a call this morning that they wanted to come pressure wash the house today, rather than in three weeks. We had to hurry to clear the way - moving flowerpots, etc. The crew is busily spraying as I type. Maybe they'll do the painting early, too. That would be nice.

Woke up to rain. Now they say rain all day. Yesterday the forecast said 3% chance of precip. Go buy a lottery ticket.

Ok, they sprayed hard - too hard. Rita found it was raining in the kitchen with water pouring from a light fixture. Now we have to live with the noise of a giant fan blowing to dry out our ceiling. Fun times.
