    Last day of work before flying to Germany tomorrow. Still no word on DDIL going into labor yet.

    Good morning.

    Got work done yesterday and we also attacked the greeting card drawers (yes, multiple) and a closet in the TV room. It's a banner crop for the charities in Louisville. Also got shredding and dumpster quotes for when we decide to do deeper cleaning.

    Also had pizza at Impellizzeri's last night for probably the first time in 20 years. My innards are in an active state of revolt though because that's a lot of cheese for my quasi lactose intolerant gut to process.

    Sassy was overjoyed to get home. I think she was a bit put out at us for leaving her. Getting back to normal, today: a long walk and work around the house and yard, with Sassy supervising.

    Did a bunch of travel planning for Australia yesterday. I think we have the first two-three weeks figured out. Will book that lodging soon then we might just wing the rest. Today need to find a car rental.

    But found out both airlines with good flight options to NZ only allow a 15# carryon so will need to figure that out. We are both just over 20# our backpack size fits so might just need to get a duffle to check. Bikes are getting checked anyway.

    • Pizza looks good Lou. There may be one in my future. I don't envy your cleaning out duties.
    • I had to snicker about your packing dilemma Steph. DW and I have a 16 day cruise planned in Dec. and we are trying to figure out how to make it with 2 checked suitcases.
