    Ready or not.....here's August! Hard to believe we are flying into the back end of summer already! Ugh!

    I'm having Baby Tony with his parents over for the first time at G-ma's (gee ma) house tonite for dinner. They can eat while I hold him and show him around!

    Speedy recovery, Sam!

    Cecilia has requested that I come down to Brazil. Her mom's birthday is on 8/22 and they're going to try to do something for it with the family. Cecilia's already a bit wrung out after 3 weeks there, so I'll also see if I can steal her away for a couple days to recharge her batteries. I'll be leaving in 2 weeks.

    Tour de France men's and women's are both over. We will now have so much more free time. Need to get serious about travel planning. I'd like to have a rough draft of Australia, NZ and Singapore/
    Malaysia by the end of August. Plus need to get lodging and activities finalized for end of September and Hawaii.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Taking it easy Sam and get well.
    • I started my day with my Emmaus Reunion group which is always good.
    • Our church voted to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church last night. It will be the end of the year before it is official. I imagine we will end up becoming a part of the Global Methodist Church which uses the same Book of Discipline (church rules) that our leaders refused to follow.
    • My DB was released from the hospital after 9 days yesterday and then confusion set in. He is back in ICU with brain bleeding. The boy can't catch a break.
    • Spending some time with Cecilia and your DMIL in Brazil is probably a good thing Lou.
    • I can see the smile on G-ma's face.

    Good Morning,
    Our church only had 61.95% vote to disaffiliate therefore the vote failed. I am no longer a United Methodist, but a new church will begin this coming Sunday. Have no idea of how many of 61.95% will join in on new church.
    Agree you need to support Cecilia, Lou.
    Setting up travel sounds exciting and frustrating.
    Enjoy grandson Mary, we know you are not going to spoil him, HA HA!

    Hard to believe, but shipped off to Basic Training 34 years ago today! Seems like yesterday!
