Final house prep today for Cecilia's return on Thursday.
The firm she contracted with to work at AMD called her last week. They have a new client that's a spin-off of 3M and they need help, so it's possible that she may have a gig soon if she wants it. And they're okay if she works from Brazil - she'd just have to keep hours with Central time.
Key words there are 'if she wants it'. She knows it's going to be a slog and she's really been wanting something that is more fulfilling and/or pays better. This would be a bird in the hand kind of thing, but she's not jazzed about it at all.0 -

Church, this morning, then meeting of church elders in the afternoon. Running some errands with Rita after that, including checking on DS's cat (actually DGD's cat) while the family is off in Hawaii. I promised DGD I would sit with him so he wouldn't be lonely.0 -

Still in bed here. Late night up chatting and trying to solve the problems of the world lol. Lots of laughs too.
Went to see the catholic Grotto rock gardens yesterday afternoon. Pretty. Lots of cool usual hostas.along the shrines depicting the Fourteen Stations of the Cross and the Seven Sorrows of Mary . Its a, Quote:
Journey through the Wonder Cave, a one-fifth mile passageway, featuring 26 shrines, and designed based on the catacombs in Rome. Cool rock formations and flowers planted throughout.
Heading back home around, noon.
I like a decluttered tidy home and glamper too. So does dh.
School starts and labor day is around the corner already!!

- I've been churched and schooled. I had the day off. I didn't have to work in the A/V booth.
- I know it will be nice to have Cecilia home, working or not.
- I still smile when I see you talking about DH Mary.
- Cats and dogs make us all smile.

We are home from our walk and cooled off in the pool all before 9am. It's back to hot in AZ.
