- I've gotten much better (nay, older/wiser) about biting tongue and not engaging. Come to realize its just not worth it.
- Off to see Spine doc this morning. Took off the entire day from work....too much to catch up on later.
- Apparently Bocce Ball is all the rage here in Del-Webb!

Prayers for those in Florida and panhandle.
Mexican good again last night put me up over 1#. Going out with bf tonight to a craft beer brick oven pizza joint. Lord help me!! Then, tomorrow night we are going out with a couple. Too much eating out makes the scale go up and wallet go empty. Ha. Good one
Hope the back visit goes well doc.

I hope the doc has some answers for you, Skip.
We're looking at a high of 72, today, and 65 with rain tomorrow. Ironically, as the temps grow cool our tomatoes are ripening.
I have an old Army friend who lives on the southwest coast of Florida. Their house was flooded to the eaves two years ago. They were just getting back to normal last winter and now look to be affected again. I hope they evacuated.0 -

Cloudy here, but only 73 now, we are expected to get rain from bands today with temps around 80.
After today should be cooler, 80's low 90's,
Hoping for good report and easy fix from doctor Skip.
I fully agree eating out empties pocket and inflates body.

Where you heading Dennis, Smokey Mountains would be great; Dragons Tail? I may try in spring.

8ll check in with FIL today. He should be fine from storm damage in Clearwater as his neighborhood is higher up than most and well built to withstand high winds.
Another HOT day forecasted so we are off to the mall for an inside walk. This one has multiple staircases so we will do those too.
Did I tell you all we decided to leave the bikes behind (tear) it was getting way to complicated to take public transportation with them in Australia. We will decide later if we want them shipped to NZ. Our petsit near Auckland has ebikes they encouraged us to borrow while there.

I'm walking a lot at this conference and offsetting any benefit I may otherwise derive through bourbon-infused networking.
Cecilia had me go to Uniqlo on State Street to get her some pants. Called this morning apologizing profusely because she gave me the wrong size to buy. Now she's not sure about the color, etc. I'm not saying I condone spousal murder, but I have an appreciation for the phrase "extenuating circumstances". 🤣

- I feel your pain, Lou. You too Skip although they are different types of pain.
- It's a rainy day in Georgia, but not a lot of wind. Growing up in FL I knew that is not where I wanted to retire. Idalia is one of the reasons.
- Pulling out tomorrow for a 4 day motorcycle trip. Meeting up with some Goldwing riders I met on-line to ride the Smokies. Imagine, friends you met on-line.
- Like Kelly, I will struggle with trying to watch my weight and eating in restaurants.
- Looking forward to your pictures of AUS and NZ Steph. Take lots of film.

Kelly,. I've been keeping my trap shut more too. Speaking wise anyway, (not eating) and just listening more without engaging with certain folks. Its liberating and non stressful. Spending time with those I enjoy.
I officially joined weight watchers today. I've gained way too much weight over last 3-4+ years. And can't seem to lose any by myself. It's been an extreme struggle.
Weather here today is perfect!
One more day of work and I'm at the lake Thursday pm til next Tuesday night!!! Weather shows hot and hotter
