How's DMIL, Skip?
Louisville doesn't have a lounge because the airport is too small and it basically just provides service to airline hubs. No airline has more than a few gates and when they expanded in the late 80's, no room was made past security to accommodate something like that.
Slept like a rock last night. Not sure when Cecilia came to bed, but I'm pretty sure she could have brought an R&B band into the room and I wouldn't have noticed.0 -
Today, DW is taking DMIL to see an orthopedic doctor. DMIL's shoulder socket is still swollen and discolored, resembling fifty shades of black and blue, and is about the size of a small grapefruit. Due to my busy schedule, I don't have to spend much time with DMIL. She usually stays in her room or goes out to lunch with DW while I work on my computer in the basement with my dog for company. I attend Happy Hour and when I return home, I go straight back to the basement until bedtime. There have been times when we haven't seen each other for days or even a week. <<<NOT COMPLAINING ๐

If the back injections are going to work, they seem to be much delayed. I have been hurting as much as ever, the last few days. Depressing. I'll spend time in the shop today, to cheer myself up.
Fun watching the Seahawk defense humiliate the Giants last night. Like old times.0 -

We are at 59F and expect a 40 degree swing to upper 80s again, by later this afternoon. Crazy.
Colors in central Wisconsin are at peak, so yes dear, let's go to the lake this weekend. Especially since the next few will be to shut 'er down for winter.
Our lake lots reassessments came. Both lots increased nicely from our buy prices in this short time. We'll see what the property tax ramifications will be. The town says taxes won't raise anywhere near +double. Hmmm.
These selling prices 3x to 4x more than the prices only 3-4 years ago definitely is a cause.The year rounder retirees are in a frenzy and not happy about the increases... we are pretty happy, seems our investments were good choices. The lots we have will not devalue. And there are very few available to build one, that don't have houses on them already, around this lake area.
Hope Dave, Ron, Skips dmil and others not well, feel better soon!

Warm here till Friday night then temps drop Sunday not expected to get out of 60's, next week highs in 70's, reckon fall is here.
Hope Ron is improving and finding out what is going on.
Sorry about back Dave, hope pain eases soon.
Though DMIL is not living in house she calls several times a day and gets others to call. Someone in family tries to go by and see her daily, she admits she has more visitors than anyone else, but she is still not satisfied.

- Trekked across the 17-mile Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel this morning. A marvel for sure.
- DW and I are spending 2 nights in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Plan to travel up to Dover tomorrow to visit our old stomping grounds and tour the Air Musuem.
- We are headed back to Chesapeake Thursday and Friday to celebrate my brother's birthday. We'll travel home on Saturday.
- I hope all those who are ailing get better soon.
