G'Morning~
Sad day. The 78' Award Winning Vette gets loaded up this morning on way to new owner in Bel-Air, Maryland. 'Twas fun while we had it. Did VERY well on that investment.
Off to begin PT following last fusion. Then racing home to meet tow truck.
Zero TorT last night. Tucker and I sat on Front Porch for a bit - but retired at 8p and didnt damage the candy bowl.

No ToT'ers last night here, so I get to keep all the candy I didn't buy because we never get ToT'ers anyway.
I'm off to Louisville this morning. Dad took a sharp turn for the worse with an infection in his leg. They're recommending amputation but we're not sure what quality of life would be there for him if they do it. We can't really ask him because he's too loopy right now to process things.
If they get him healed up enough to discharge the he'd still need the amputation, but would then have to go through the normal process to schedule surgery, etc. So, a decision needs to be made between amputation and palliative care before he's dischargable.
Anyway... That's where I'm at right now.0 -

Tough to say goodbye to the 'Vette, Skip. I'm sure there will be another treasure in your future.
We walked around with the grandkids while they did their trick-or-treating, last night. Rita bought a large bag of candy to take over for them, too. We now have a bowl of leftovers. I'll attempt to ration that out slowly. I don't know how many kids come around in our neighborhood, anymore, because we are never home. We used to get 120 - 150.0 -

I'm sorry your father is going through this Lou. Safe travels.
With it snowing here during trick n treat last night we got a 1/4 of the kids as normal. Sent the leftovers to work with dh.
Snow hopefully melts quick so to allow fall leaf cleanup.
Time to move onto planning the Thanksgiving holiday and only 50+ some odd days til Christmas. 36 days until Hanukkah. Happy to hear my ddil say they do not want a lot of toys for dgs. So, I'm getting him his highchair, a couple books and one learning toy. We will see whats on baby dgd Lauren's wish list.

Headed toward the populated side of the island today. Ron has a massaged booked and we need a supermarket. Not looking forward to the traffic but I am getting the hang of driving on the left side of the road.0
