Got out for a decent hike yesterday afternoon, although sunny mild weather soon turned cold, windy and cloudy, and ended with a snowflake or two by the finish. Trail was muddy in spots, and completely flooded out in one place so that I had to take a side trail—beavers-at-work. A good 2-hour workout overall, which helped settle down my GI system.

Lee, I’m not sure if house or condo. Same area; this is near the family while convenient to all the semi-wilderness outdoors stuff I like to do. Icefishing, hiking, paddling, rail trails. And the occasional moose that wanders through town. I need more room, would like to have a yard, and am tired of condo rules like ‘no bird feeders’, etc. Not urgent, but will start researching possibilities.

Dave, bazaar sounds like it went very well for you, except the furniture lifting job they gave you.

    Good morning!

I did something to my neck/traps on Saturday when I did the leaves. I feel like I have a pinched nerve in my neck, and it is giving me a bad headache. I have not been to a chiropractor in six months. I'm hoping that today will be better.

Three day work week this week. I still don't have October closed.

Tonight is the super bowl rematch between the Chiefs and Eagles.

Dave, congratulations on the successful sale! I hope you can use your half to buy some nice tools.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

We accepted checks at the bazaar, from several people we know well from church. I have to go to the bank, today, to cash them. I'll do some shopping while I'm out. I am making vegan stuffing and corn pudding for Thanksgiving. Need the veggies for the stuffing and the heavy cream for the corn pudding.

Two hours out hiking sounds pretty great to me, Mike. I ache to go on a good hike. Unfortunately, I really ache when I walk very far.

    Good Morning

Rough day yesterday. I had some muscle spasms in my glute driving home from dropping of a frozen turkey at the Turkey Drop Event. Fun drive home. Heat and rest got it to stabilize. I took it easy the rest of the day. Fortunately I have my monthly chat with the Pain Doc this morning she requires because of the new stronger pain meds. I am hoping she will have an idea if it is related to my cutting my Gabapentin in half or how we can get it under control. If all is well today, we will try and catch up on some of yesterdays stuff. I am still hoping to go for slow walk and see how that goes.

    Good Afternoon,
Had nice few days in Smokey Mountains, got back yesterday weight up four pounds today.
Have given up yoga classes so worked on tackifying outside of house this morning.
DD taken to hospital this morning has been running a high fever and low oxygen level, they had started her on antibiotics last week; tested negative for flu and COVID.
I have MRI tomorrow and another brain scan Wednesday then three more test next week.
Glad bazaar went well Dave, hope body recovers soon.
Moving is always a pain, hope you can find a place you will enjoy Mike without HOA restrictions.
Lee, sorry about body pain issues and late payments hope parent company is financially sound just a cash flow issue, which is common with growing companies.
Bill, be careful of getting over tired; you will find during treatments body takes longer to recover.

Good afternoon gents. I'll have to get caught up. MY DW broke her 7th rib at noon on Thursday. (YIKES) and is in extraordinary pain!!! Got some tissur on her thumb krazy glued back together and is dealing with the broken rib. No fracture to the thumb. Rib landed atop a large terracotta pot after slipping on moss. The Terracotta rim did a job on the rib. Only very slightly "dispolaced which only the radiologist could see but definite break.
    More later.
