    Good Morning,
Pablo has been out peed and pooped
Monitor went off in middle of night, said not good skin contact; changed holder which removed skin; believe it is defected
    How's bachelorhood in PNW?
Prayers continue for Bob's DW and her caretaker.
Bill I'm beginning to see all that you went through to get anything done in medical world.
Starting out very cold here, 26 when we went out.
Lee, hope work is going better
Mike, still think you want to move?

In the teens here this morning. Aaaack, 26º in GA?!

Started moving some stuff to storage yesterday, and put a second load into SUV last night—my rather heavy piano moving equipment. At least now I won’t have to lug that stuff up and down 2 flights of stairs, four or five times, every time I need it. Storage place is only 10 minutes away, handy.

I am still thinking about moving. Not in a hurry, but will keep an eye out for opportunities. Meanwhile, I plan to do some simple facelifts on condo (easier with junk out of the way), good for whether I sell or stay.

Piano class today. Haven't practiced but once all week.

    Mornin' gents.

Work is worky. Some days I have the same sentiments, Steve. Love what I do but feel like I would like to do it less intensely at times. I think I will have to stop taking new clients, it seems like I have been seeing quite a few lately, and not for nothing, I am likely going part time in a couple of years.
Hoping Bob's DW is recovering quickly.
Glad you found a spot for your canoe, Mike.
    What kind of monitor, Sam?

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Bachelorhood in the PNW is ... boring. Sassy and I both miss Rita. She brings a lot of energy to our lives.

I have a video appointment with a doctor from the VA, this morning. I don't actually get my care from VA, except for my hearing aids, but checking in with my assigned PCM keeps my file active, so I can get care there if I ever need to.

It's foggy and 30 degrees, here. Icy roads in places. Good day to be retired.

    Good Morning

My many phone calls have all borne fruit. Today, Heather and I drive up to the Cancer Center up in Walnut Creek for my initial consultation and orientation and, of course, paperwork. Hopefully I will be able to start the external beam radiation in the next 2-3 weeks as originally planned. Tomorrow I have my MRI for the consult with the surgeon the following week. I will rest one more day before exercising again to make sure I get rid of this cold since I am starting to feel better this morning. We do have the joy of making some calls to decide on new Medicare Supplemental insurance. Heather would like to try and Advantage plan.

Steve and Lee, I find it hard to relate to your thoughts on retirement. I had no affection for my career at all, quite the opposite. When I had to leave seminary, Corporate Accounting was the only way I knew how to make money to pay the medical bills and other debt and support our growing family. I shed no tear over leaving it behind, except for having to retire early due to my back and losing a couple years of earning vs drawing on savings.
