Hard to believe its December! Oye!
11 hours at hospital with me Dad yesterday for a one hour surgery - good grief. I now know why parents video their kids after wisdom teeth extraction. DF had only a "sedative" to take the edge off before being wheeled from pre-op to OR and was babbling like a baby. Finally got him home at 9p! Ugh.
Off to have coffee with a childhood friend I grew up with who now lives here in Southern Maine.

DMIL being treated still for blood clots in her lungs now. Ugh. DW is frazzled.

Its December! Already!
Hoping to deck the halls, get the tree inside and start decorating today. Dh's holiday work dinner party tonight and he's off today . I'm the designated driver.
Sam, did I miss a photo of your pup Pablo? What breed is he? Would love to see a photo of him.

Dave - even if the beer had alcohol, I'd still rather have my wife here.
I lost an hour of sleep last night when I woke up at 3 to pee and the brain started working. Mr. Sandman finally checked back on me sometime after 4.
Cecilia's heading to her mom's house today after a couple days by herself to unwind. Her mom is in rough shape. Not eating, depressed, etc. I've seen this movie before, unfortunately. The siblings are considering sending her back to Rio which would likely include hospitalization. I guess what I'm saying is, please lob a prayer in her direction, because this awful year isn't over yet.0 -

Rough year indeed for BBB. Prayers sent to all.
Cold snap is over in Florida...might even wear shorts today for our walk. We are heading up to the nearest intersection with shops to get batteries, a calendar journal and a few other odds and ends. Since we borrow our friends dad's car (and pay $50/day) we try not to drive unnecessarily and since we go for walks every day anyway it just makes sence to combine walk with shopping. It will probably be 7.5 miles round-trip.
Did i mention we bought an Xbox. It has been so good for Ron's overall well being. He is up and down off the couch, using his dexterity and it takes his mind off his trouble. We have been mostly playing co-op or puzzle games. So glad we did that.0 -
