Greetings from the United Lounge where I can tell you with absolute certainty that a double espresso with bourbon is not the winning combination you might think it'd be. I'll be in Louisville for a few days to work on estate stuff.

Cecilia's mom met with the oncologist yesterday. He basically told her, "Depression is normal with a cancer diagnosis. Your body has been through a lot. Eat anyway and get out of the house, or you'll spiral."

Hopefully, with that little pep talk, she'll make more of an effort. Especially now that, while they're in Niteroi, they don't have the health aids.

Nice company holiday party last night with dh and his coworkers. He got a Gift card to a local meat market, a tin of homemade cookies and their $ year-end bonus to come. So the boss said. Not bad !

We got some snow last evening so dh's plan of running the zero turn for the last time today is nixed. My plan... Is to deck my halls. My plan for him... get the tree inside the house and set up in the stand. Put a wreath on our new shed, not sure he'll go for that lol. You know, a nail hole in the new shed could be the deal breaker lol. Well he could use a command strip then!!

I'm babysitting tonight for my great neice 4.5 yo and her brother 2.5 yo at their house. They are good kids! We will make English muffin pizzas. She wants hers with pizza sauce, cheese and pineapple. Okie dokie! Hmmm. A trip to Dollar tree for a craft project to do with them is in order this morning, as well. Just have to figure that out yet!

Rita got home OK, last night. Sassy was overjoyed and very excited. So was I.

Your airline problems put me in mind of Rota's experiences this week, with a "budget" airline. At the urging of DDIL's mom, they took Spirit and caried everything in backpacks to avoid paying for a carryon. The airline was awful, gouging for everything and treating passengers like an annoying hindrance. I will never again face resistance for paying a bit more to fly Alaska on our Vegas trips.

• This morning was rehearsal for tomorrow's church cantata. This evening is the Veterans Club Christmas party. Oh, and the Georgia and Alabama teams are in the SEC Championship this afternoon.
• I had to look up Niteroi. I enjoy the geography lessons. Which begs the question as to why you are flying out of Houston Lou? Must be some major savings.
• Continued prayers for the extended BBB family fighting major issues and the closer family who just aren't 100%.
