Good morning!
Well, it is back to work today. I enjoy my work, but more and more I am longing to be done with it.
I took Frankie out in 20 degrees. It seems very cold, but this is January. We had a very mild December, so we have not really felt true winter yet for any extended period. That is supposed to change this week.
Month end will keep me busy and distracted this week.
Have a great day!0 -
Doing a short hike this morning instead of paddling. My friend Dave is wary of hurting his back and is out of shape since his bout with COVID in Nov. and the serious wrist infection he dealt with a week or two ago. My hip is still sore since the 5-mile hike the other day, but not so much I can’t do another one. Will make sure I do all the PT stretches before starting.
I got a start on some house cleaning yesterday and will continue this afternoon after the hike.

Good morning gentlemen.
Had a nice day, yesterday - watched two football games and my teams won both. Way to go Ducks and Huskies.
I have a dental appointment first thing this morning, with an oral surgeon. My regular dentist saw something on my Xray he didn't like and referred me on. I suspect I will be looking at a root canal on my front tooth. I can't find the information on our dental insurance, so I'll have to have my dentist's office call the other office with the information. Makes me seem like a forgetful old man.
The rest of my day looks open. Probably run errands with Rita.0 -
Good Morning
New morning routine with up at into the shower, shave and dress to head down for a light breakfast before prayer. First radiation treatment at 10:45 20min appt they say, most of which is checking me and position me. I am thankful for the turnaround this past month with the help of my Pain Drs office and my sinus infection clearing up so I can sleep through the night as much as the ole bladder allows. I got "the guy" coming over to repair the powder room sink drain which is seeping slowly. We will just redo it and check it off. I have other odd repairs to make I will discuss with him that I can no longer handle without aggravating something or screwing it up. New Years weight is gone and and hit another low today. Pretty good day.0 -
Bill - Intense and earnest prayer for you my friend. I pray that this treatment is successful and complete. I pray that the radiation provides minimal discomfort to you. I'll be holding you close in prayer all day.

It's still morning here. Just got back from oral surgeon. I need surgery to remove a nerve cyst behind my upper front teeth. Oh joy. I will have to consult my neurosurgeon to see how long after my back operation I can do the oral procedure. It too will be under general anesthetic, so I will need my son or DDIL to help me out, again. Starting to feel like a burden.0

Ouch Dave. Just think of all the times you and Rita did something for your DS. I'm sure that he and your DDIL are more than happy to help.
Best of luck with radiation, Bill.
That must've been annoying, Sam.
Onward and not upward ;-)0
