    Good morning.

Welcome home to the wandering feline. Hope the surgery went well.

Cold front is settling in and wind is picking up. I'm just glad the HVAC system on my floor at the office finally got fixed yesterday. We haven't had heat in 2 weeks. Didn't matter because this is Texas, but it will next week when the freeze comes.

    Morning BBB

Raining a bit now but looks like it will clear off soon. Our plan today is to drive to a bunch of the little towns around and see if any would be a good fit. Cold front behind the rain but nothing like the rest of the country is getting.

    Glad the kitty came home.

    Good Morning,
    Here's to a clean colon,
Folks talk about good old days, I really enjoy central heat and air.
Injections in spine do not sound fun, I know how they hurt in my shoulders and knee.
Hope kitty is recovering from surgery,
Steph, I love Clearwater, but most folks are older than you and Ron.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    Good luck today, Dennis.

    Welcome home kitty.

    Welcome home shiny ride.

We woke to snow, here. Fortunately, only enough to turn everything white, not enough to shovel. It will stay below freezing for the next couple days.

Good morning from soon to be blizzard conditions. Snowing hard since 730a, already 4 inches on the porch and walkways which were cleared yesterday afternoon from those 3 inches. We are making up for no December snow. Temps still 31F but weather guessers say temps to drop and winds pickup by Sunday. Forecasting 6 to 12inches depending on how north of lake michgan you are. This snow is lake effect so more towards lake. Im 25minutes west, in the 8inches by Saturday range.

Split pea ham soup in my crock pot. Heat turned up to 72F in case we lose power today. Already flashed off/on 2x earlier.

My FL hq hasn't had internet since Thursday so I have no remote access to my work server! Breaks my heart lol.

Dh went to work at 5:30a and will be off at 2:30p today. I'm sure his F150 will get him home fine. He's only 15min. away. But country roads...

Skip, when you do all this aftermarket stuff on these new cars/trucks, do you get your money back with the early trade ins?

Steph, is Florida your choice to settle to be closer to fil?
I have a friend in St Augustine, loves it. I know nothing of Florida, other than Orlando and eeh I can leave it. Not a Disney fan.Tax wise, I get Floridas no income tax or state tax. But if your both retired anyway? Does that even play in?

Lee, Hope kitty is well. Any idea what may have happened?

Dennis, I don't envy you today. Uugghh. A necessary evil though.

Kelly. How's weather there? What happened in the hood?

Hope your surgery gets you great results Dave. And no snow shows. You don't need to worry about shoveling...

I think I'll start my new book, Snowed in for Christmas. Its fitting, lol, though its not Christmas!

    Be well BBB!

Mary - MOSTLY (yes). Car's have become my ADHD hobby. I've made money on most deals. I've lost money on others. All in all - i'm still more in the black than red.

Glad to hear kitty returned home and is TLC care of Mr & Mrs Critter Fixers!

Dennis - hope the procedure was nothing more than a good nap!

I'm thinking of getting shingles shot in a.m. tomorrow and have the test of weekend to recoup.

Anyone care to chime in on your results of the after? How did your feel after round one of two?

    Good call.
I made the mistake of getting shingles, COVID booster, and flu shot all on the same day/appt. I DO NOT recommend that approach. Sore and nausea for a few days.

Keep in mind the new Shingles shot is a round of 2, I believe 6 months apart. I had what was like mild flu symptoms for 24 hours. Most people don't have that affect.

Colonoscopy complete. 2 polyps. Dr. wants me to redo in a year. 8-(

Does the new Waggy fit in the garage Skip?

Dennis - with about 6" to spare! Its a tight fit. One of my biggest disappointments with Pulte. The garage sizes are designed for The Villages (think golf carts). Not heavy duty sport ute's.

In our hood a 4' garage extension is an option. Still fairly narrow

Sicker than a dog on shot #2 singles.

    This is what happened:
It was a driver who refused to get out of his car. He had weapons in his car from a home invasion.
SWAT got the bomb squad robot which broke out the back window and then threw in a canister of tear gas.

Well....that likely got him out of his vehicle!

I decided to wait a couple weeks for shingles shot 1, dh wants his too, so we will make it a date. We can miserate together one weekend soon. Do it on a Friday or early on a sat a.m.

My dr doesn't want me to take more than one vax at same time. I agree.

I sailed thru my recent flu vax, no problem. Not even a sore arm, but I also spin my arm round n round often, and it helps the serum to move throughout the muscle.

We are at about 7.5 inches of snow now! Of wet heavy snow. The plow piled 3.5ft at end of driveway. A neighbor came in with his truck and plowed it out. Saved dh lot of time. Thank you!

Did the single shingles shot years ago, and the double shot in 2019. I had no reaction to any of them. But that's pretty much my reaction to any shot, other than a sore arm.
