Freezing rain now atop an inch of snow. Oil change up the road a mile, if I can get there, and then piano chords class in Holden.
Ice on the fishing pond was not as good as I thought; test hole measured 7” on Sunday, but when we got out there, it was 4, 3-1/2, 5, and one place, 2”. Nobody fell through, fortunately, but will wait till more freezing weather predominates for a few weeks before I go back.
Gotta run...0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Felt pretty good all day, yesterday. Only minor pain from the incision, now. That's all good. Now I have to keep reminding myself to not do what I am supposed to avoid. There is always the temptation to let pain be my guide, and I have been specifically cautioned against that.
I did get out for a 1.5-mile walk, yesterday. I kept to a nice slow pace, and it was really nice to be out un the fresh air. It's raining hard, right now, but the hourly forecast calls for a break mid-day. I'll try to do two miles then.
Weighed myself yesterday, and I was almost exactly where I was the day before my surgery. At least I am not gaining. I made salmon cakes for my supper, last night, with some green beans and a little brown rice. As the expression goes, onward and downward.0 -
Good Morning Gentleman.
Damp foggy day but temps starting in 50's, should top out near 70, same through Friday.
Physical therapy should be called torture therapy, arm and shoulder seems worst now than before I started, did mid assessment yesterday, no comment but seemed similar to back in December. But insurance should be happy.
Glad you are doing better Dave, prayers continue for Bill and Bob.
Mike, glad you are trying to stay safe on ice.
I've been trying to get someone to install a fence for Pablo, three appointments with three different individuals; no one shows up as scheduled. May have to do myself, with DSon and DSonIL0 -
Good Morning
I am still fighting off a cold from coming full on. Just my sinuses so far, but I am resting and isolating and rocking a burgundy KN95 mask. More of the same. Heather seems to be on the mend a bit and she had more symptoms so I should follow soon. I wouldn't mind sleeping in my bed again. So another exciting day of driving up for my treatment and home to rest some more, though I wouldn't mind a walk if the weather stays dry.0 -
Sam, look at radio fence and then there is satellite fence. I find the satellite fence intriguing.0

Good afternoon!
Taking a short break at work. Foggy today, but at least it is above 32. The last two mornings have been very dangerous driving to work. We are supposed to be in the 40s later in the week.
A few weeks ago a trash truck threw up a rock and chipped my windshield. During the sub zero temps, it cracked all the way across. Now I get to pay a $500 deductible. Crapola. I'll never get to retire.
We are paying $2500 today to get the electrical in the house refurbished.
Prayers continue for healing with special prayers for Bill, Bob, Sam, Dave.
Have a great rest of your day!0
