Missed posting yesterday— busy day. Early piano class, then cardiologist checkup, stopped at Lowe’s, visited old friends (who plied me with a brownie and icecream — ahhhgg!) then on to DS’s to help him hang his 6-foot TV from a stand he put together backwards. Afterward, I stayed late and watched Lord of the Rings with him (3 hours... just Part I).

Foggy morning here. No flowers blooming for probably 2 months, although *kitten*-willows often show up in February. And skunk cabbage sometimes.

My cardiologist said my aortic stenosis is very mild, and since I haven’t experienced any A-Fib in a few years (used to be a frequent event), I can try cutting back on the med dosage and see how that goes. A good visit. He, on the other, had a knee replacement last month and the other one in the fall. Hobbled into the exam room and seemed in a lot of pain. He was an avid skier and cyclist. Egads.

Never been to Tennessee. Steve, good luck with the health program. Bill, great that you’re done with finally with those treatments.

    Have a great day.

    Mornin' gents

Snagged a 4th place in yesterday's trial. Happy happy.
Good to hear about your mild aortic stenosis, Mike.
Forgot to take my meds this am. Glad I have back up in the truck.
Had a piece of key lime pie at the banquet last night. 28 pts when I entered into my tracker. EGADS!

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Good doctor's report, Mike.

As long as you're tracking everything, you'll be fine. That's what I think. Rita made Filipino beef machado, yesterday. It's a kind of beef stew. She used a large ribeye steak that had been languishing I the freezer for far too long. I had a normal serving with some brown rice and blasted through 14 points. It's OK. Today I'll be back to chicken breast and a small baked sweet potato.

Oh Sam hope your knee gets figured out. Not fun!
Lee: Glad to hear you had some nice success in the dog trials!! 28pts for key lime pie? Yikes!
Your Dr report sounds good Mike.
Beef Machado sounds great. I think I had some whilst in the Philippines myself. YUM

Off to a good start today.

    Good Afternoon

I almost forgot to check in, after getting distracted this morning and then got busy. But the bathroom drain is draining well again. I walked a couple blocks over to our local grocery store. My back seized up and I almost took a tumble walking in the store. Thankfully I was able to walk slowly back. It seems to have eased up. I will do some light movement and stretching and try to get back into my morning exercise habit. I have more energy in the AM. Heather started working again this morning as a substitute over at her old school. Now they need her for a couple days next week. She’s happy, so I am happy as long as she doesn’t mess up her Social Security by earning too much which is unlikely.

Mike that’s good news on the AFib. Its always good to be able to drop a pill off the daily regimen.

Congrats on yesterday’s result though it sounds a bit soggy there!

    Blessings
