Got home Monday afternoon. Fell asleep mid fourth quarter of Superbowl and woke up to Chiefs as the champs. Congratulations Steve.
Woke up to heavy snowfall Tuesday morning. Total accumulation of 12+ inches. Went in to work and only one client came in. Caught up on client communications and medical records.
Gonna be busy today. Got my honey a few things to remind her she is still my Valentine. Dinner in tonight.
Lost 1.5 lbs during my trip to Tennessee. WW still works if you work it.

    Onward and Downward ;-)

    Mornin’ gents.

Cold and sunny here. Lee, how did you get 12” and we only have 2" or 3”?

Today is the first day of Lent in our church. a day of fasting, aka “Ash Wednesday". Somehow it has collided with Valetine’s Day, which I guess creates a dilemma for chocolate lovers. We’ll see how that all goes… I suppose devout people could buy chocolates and just look at them all day.

I will get out in the snow today, but there is a funeral of a lodge brother I will go to also. Fine fellow who ran into serious health issues at too young an age.

Off to have my morning coffee and a light bit of something to eat.

    Good Morning,
I remember when I would give up chocolate for lent, friend would give up cheese; now just try to be a better person with daily devotion time.
Sun is shing brightly should get into 60's.
No real plans for today, restaurants around here increase prices for Valentine's week; reckon I'll fix supper for DW tonight.
Pray all are feeling better today and have a great week.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Happy birthday Oregon, admitted to the Union on Feb. 14, 1859. I played Ike, Bettsy from Pike's husband, in the school play on the centennial in 1959.

Haven't done anything special for Valentine's Day. I'll take Rita anywhere she wants to go. There is a soup supper followed by a service at our church, this evening. Fasting isn't really a thing with Presbyterians.

It was great getting to a woodturners club meeting, last night. The demonstration was a bit of a bust - supposed to go until 9 and he was done at 8.

There is a surprise chance of up to 2 inches of snow, tonight. What?! I imagine it will just be cold rain.

    Good Morning

No snow report here, maybe some rain. I don’t do snow. DW gives up chocolate every Lenten season. So when I got home from the Surgeon’s office I got a text “recommending” chocolate cake and ice cream for dinner, so I, of course, headed to the store. The smile was worth it. My stomach did not respond well to the rich cake. Surgical consult went well, I will go in on 3/8. He will clean up the joint and remove some bone. The discectomy will be decided when he can examine the disc and see what is possible. I finally was able to get my Covid vaccine with only a sore arm to show for it.

Well possible a bit of snow tonight and tomorrow above 500 feet. I have a Dr appt in the hills tomorrow at close to 500 feet. Hope everything is ok. Likely just rain most places for sure.
    Still in the 30s here.
Ah Dave hanging out with Presbyterians here too and yes my DW doesn't fast nor most folks incl me.
I also don't party for Mardi Gras either. Happy B-day Oregon!

Wow I need your surgeon Bill !!! Cake and Ice Cream sound great.

Not surprised Lee slept thru some of the Super Bowl megathon!!! I started late watching it and am on the West Coast so did OK.
    Stay warm all
