    Mornin' BBB

I have a mini black panther in my lap playing with the drawstrings on my hoodie sweat shirt. Murder mittens just a wee bit too close to my chin! Dr, when can we let this wild animal back outside?
We did let her out a bit on a sunny day this week. She lounged on my pellet smoker.8ktvwe7kemyp.jpg

    Kelly, it is getting close.
Gladiator is a pretty cool truck. I think if I were to splurge on a truck, it would either be a Tundra hybrid TRD off road, or similar in Ford Raptor. I like big trucks, I cannot lie.
Dennis, you have a good memory. Ha!
We got a ton of rain yesterday, and wind. Gutters clogged and caused overflow and flooding around the house. Thank goodness for a good sump system and no power loss.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good morning BBB friends.

Palm Sunday service at church, this morning. I like the piece the choir is singing.

It should be dry this afternoon. I hope to get the mower started and cut the grass.

    That's a relaxed looking kitty.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I got to sleep in this morning. We have one combined service at 11am.
    • Back at church this afternoon for the Easter Cantata.
    • How's our patient in VA?
    • Is Austin returning to normal after SXSW?
    • We'll soon be getting the influx of golfers for the Masters. We'll stay out of restaurants for a week.

    Good morning.

I only made it about halfway through services yesterday because I couldn't find a comfortable way to sit or stand. Passed on the Purim festivities last night for the same reason.

It's a party-like atmosphere for this holiday - they tried to destroy us and we won, so let's play dress up, drink, and blot out the bad guy's name! So a 30 minute thing becomes two hours. I'll have another shot at it in an hour or so.

Austin is very good with cleaning uo festivals, Dennis. You wouldn't know that SXSW was here 24 hours after it ended. It doesn't do a takeover of the streets except for a block of Congress. It's the venues that get packed and more people on the streets.

If I didn't have to worry about money, I'd have probably bought that Honda Ridgeline. I don't see myself needing the off road capabilities, so I'll take something with more thoughtful can design and better road noise suppression. The in-bed trunk is also a great feature. I just couldn't lay down something starting with a 5 to primarily commute. Maybe for the retirement vehicle if we stay in the US.

    Good Morning,
Real back slider today, knee out and crutch has irritated shoulder.
No plans. Sunny today but windy and cool.
    Safe travels for Carrie.
Guess working in car dealership got me immune to excitement of automobiles.
With inflationary cost of everything 1.4 mil no longer shocks me, would not pay that for a place to live though now live in home valued at 20 times our first home.

    G'morning
    • That vicious kitten looks like she could take out a strapping DVM! Glad Crazy Eyes is healing!
    • The VA Patient is doing 'okay' - visiting nurse came yesterday. I'm using a cane and walker, which helps alot
    • Told DW I was a bad boy and bought a car under the influence of heavy narcotics, time alone without adult supervision, and she seemed underwhelmed and not surprised. It should arrive sometime this week.
    • DW drives home later so anxious to see her.

Car therapy makes it all better!

    Cheers,

    Morning gang

I'm sure Carrie is never surprised when there is a new car involved.

Semana Santa starts today. We hear it is a huge holiday week with Mexican Nationals and the roads beaches will be packed. We are all supplied up except for bananas so plan to mostly stay home or walk to the nearby bars/restaurants.

The open houses were fun. We looked at the 3 bedroom condos which were very similar to the one we are in but since they are corner units they have 2 whole walls of windows instead of 1 plus a 3rd bedroom and about 3 more feet of width in living room/kitchen. If I was buying the first one we saw was pretty perfect. Tomorrow we are going to see the more expensive one. It wasn't in the open house. It has a terrace almost as big as the condo with a hittub, outdoor kitchen and guest suite. It's only $150k more.

We bought our one and only house in 2002 for $155k

Would you mind sharing some of the links to these listings? Would love to see them! Carrie and I have talked about splitting our time between a condo here in VA and a condo near water / beach. Would love to see the beautiful views you are expressing!

    Good evening
Over 10,000 steps today in this house. Needless to say, we’re pooped and a lot was accomplished.

So, I’ll ask since no one else has.. did you get a sponge bath skip? New vette? Do tell? I’m guessing not the same dealership you always use?

    Good evening BBB

Palm Sunday, Easter week begins. Spring in the air hopefully follows. Wintery mix here today.

Nice car Skip, don't strain your back getting on and out of it. I could not do it. I hate sitting that low. It's pretty though!

Our pitcrew friend and team Byron gets the Nascar win today woohoo!!!. So happy for him and the crew!

    Sleep tight BBB

    Morning BBB

It was WINDY here all day yesterday. So much so that we didn't venture out at all except to warm up in the hot tub for a bit. Today looks better.

Lots of the area lost power but since the condo district is newer I assume power lines are buried. We had a few flashes where the internet blinked but overall no issues.

Skip here is the one we saw yesterday and the Hoa page. Everything for sale should be listed there. The one we are seeing today is a pocket listing so no link.

Feel free to come visit anytime to see if it's a fit for you.
