Day 15: It’s a simple to use app, with instant feedback. I’m using 2 habits,
Day 20: walk/push-ups 20/16 days. I think it would be useful to track my monthly focus habit, but don’t think I will be paying for the app. I’m stacking my two habits. App not syncing on iPhone and iPad, which is a bit annoying.

@MadisonMolly2017 , my daughter loves dressing her salads with olive oil, a fresh squeezed lemon, and some garlic. Since we have a glorious lemon tree, the lemons are readily available. I should squeeze some and put it in the freezer for summertime when they’ll be gone.

Tonight I plan to go dancing. 💃

Day 25 feet up the wall. 🧘
    Day 4 under calories 🍽️

    @77tes

    Awesome 4 days under calories!!!

Thanks for the dressing idea - I think that will work well :)

I hope you had a great time dancing!!

We ran out of salads & my husband was in on calls throughout so I dug in freezer & we finished last two pieces of a lasagne his boss gifted us after my surgery.

My calories were in a good place but the sat fat was WAY up.

Lasagne off the list - should have been anyway due to my plan with cheese.

Fiber was also 8-9 grams lower than usual due to no cabbage etc. So I see the daily salad as necessary each day now.

Happy to have a daily plan for my eating that I can now gradually cut 10calorors here or there…

Best to you & all who are on here, doing the hard work of being the healthiest we can be!!

Day 22: Today Atoms suggests changing focus from outcomes to process. This way you get to celebrate every time you do the desired action, rather than only at the end. I realised that when I changed my focus from reaching a future goal weight to being fit and healthy. And because of BHB, I get to celebrate multiple times every day.

@TerriRichardson112 - wow 🤩 you ripped that active minutes goal to pieces! I like the idea of focusing on the process rather than outcomes. After all , it’s hard to measure better health, but that outcome will happen if you stick with a healthy process.

@MadisonMolly2017 , it can be hard to keep fresh veggies in the house especially when you’re not as mobile as you are used to be. Maybe grab some frozen veggies to keep as backup in the freezer. I’m a big fan of cauliflower rice, but mixed stir fry veggies are also great.

Dancing was great, and I’m extra proud of myself for staying under calories since dancing often makes me hungry and often there are snacks. I resisted.

I discovered that I can cook my eggs without butter if I wipe the cast iron pan with avocado oil. Hardly any extra calories that way.

    @77tes

I’ll have to try cauliflower rice!

We did get more frozen vegetables- particularly green beans - yum

We also got a container of small tomatoes - yummy

I had many labs done for a kidney appt this week & cardiology next week

THEY WERE ALL GREAT!!! (I’ll know for sure after I see the doctors…both are new to me.)

@MadisonMolly2017 Hooray for good labs! 🙌 I hope you like the new doctors.

I’m sorry to say I’m disappointed with James Clear’s Atoms app. After letting me track a second habit for 7 days, all I get when I try to post that I hit my calorie goal is a prompt to buy the premium version. 😝🤑

    Our bodies are amazing!!

That is very disappointing of James Clear. So sorry & wow great job on both of your habits!!

I am taking baby steps. Some days better with my food than others but I can tell I’m beginning to turn things around!

Two weeks of 4K steps per day Yay!! A miracle
I am able to walk more without the can- stronger
Hike today had climbs & downhills - I navigated both with ease. A miracle in only 9 weeks. Grateful for my doctors/hospital.

I have set meal times for myself so my body can rely on me to feed it.

Today, first time I can remember I got sodium under 1,500mg. Hooray best for my kidney

I have a plan for my 3 meals & snack tomorrow

I am trimming the bits of sugar I was eating to curb my mouth hunger

Step by step I am clawing my way back. I’m at maintenance calorie level, but that’s ok as I figure out the meals etc. Then I will shave calories slowly.

    Turtle not a hare
    #Health First

My mantra: It’s a Perfect Day!

    Take Care

Just catching up on your motivating posts! I think everyone has had some successes (and in many instances lots of successes!) in our Mindful March. Thank you Kathy for the mindfulness suggestion. I know while I haven't hit the mark every day, I'm both more mindful when I exercise and when I'm having a meal. I want to carry this over into April.

I'll be posting the April challenge very soon!

March was a great month for me.

All 31 days practicing my mindfulness feet up the wall habit. Yay!
12 days straight staying under my calorie goal.
    114 miles walked
