    Good morning!

We had a good amount of rain last night, but not the severe storms that were initially predicted. Whew!

I am easing into a work attitude that is helping. I have a bunch of things that I need to accomplish and that I want to accomplish before leaving work. I buckled down yesterday and had a productive day. I plan to do the same today. I started on year-end.

Our world here is greening up, although we can still get freezes into early May. It is forecast to get down to 32 tonight.

Prayers for healing continue for all of you.

    Have a great day!

I am sure I wrote a post yesterday. I must have stepped away from my desk before hitting send. M has a way of distracting me. SQUIRREL! (dog people will understand)
Steve, it almost sounds like you feel as if you jumped from the frying pan into the fire. Are you unhappy with the job at your new company, or are you just exhausted from the commute and pace of the office? Any chance you could work from home a couple of days a week?
According to my fitbit, we walked 7 miles around NYC on Easter. There are a lot of weird people in NYC and they were all out on street for the Easter Parade. Nice day brought them all out. Not my cup of tea.

    Onward and downward ;-)

My dad used to bring me to NYC when I was a kid, to the museums. The weirdo parade was already starting back then.

One forecast says rain & frozen mix this week, but another one says 18" of snow here. Late in the season if that's true.

Seeds I started indoors have sprouted; but it'll be a month before they can go outside on my balcony. Just some marigolds and snapdragons so far.

DD who moved from Bali to Kawaii found a job... waitress at a Sheraton. It's a start. Loves the place she's renting, says she can hear the ocean all night, it's not steaming hot every day like Bali.

Completely forgot to call my doctor yesterday regarding the A-fib episode. First on my list for today. I am back to the full dose of Flecainide instead of half, which is all he said to do if I got A-fib. Heart feels rock steady again, no more disco-dancing squirrels.

    Have a good day...

    Good morning gentlemen.

Glad your heart isn't dancing, Mike. Hope others are progressing today, too.

Appointment with oral surgeon went fine. The biopsy showed it was a nasopalatine duct cyst. Not cancerous. I have to go back for an X-ray in six months to make sure he got it.

Have to deal with some banking today. You have to hunt around and negotiate to get a decent interest rate on savings, these days. Also have to go to the pharmacy at the hospital, to pick up a couple new prescriptions.

    Good Morning

Glad to hear the good biopsy report Dave.

I grew up just outside NY and most of our school trips were into the city for the museums or Bronx Zoo. We did family trips too. So many memories. A trip to the American Museum of Natural History and the Hayden Planetarium were a joy.

Steve, my last few months I learned just make a plan for the load and focus on the day. When necessary I would stare at my countdown timer on my phone which tracked how long I had to go, grab a cup of coffee and get back to work.

Starting to feel better and slept 8 1/2 hours last night. It has been a while since I got 6. I have taken very little Tylenol now and besides the arthritic stiffness I am moving well. I hope to try a slow walk today and see if I can keep the back from getting too stiff and move forward again but at a slower pace.

    Good Afternoon,
Subbing at school today, another term for baby sitting.
But I'm not trying to walk which helps knee.
Good news Dave, numbness can take months to go away due to nerves in mouth.
Sleep definitely helps me feel better.
Pablo hears a doorbell on television and goes crazy jumping at dining room window.
Continues warm today, chance of early rain in morning with high of only 69

Good grief Dave another big word to look up. Glad the oral surgeon apparently took care of it.

I googled the NYC parade. Kinda fun with guys in tuxedos with flat broad rims on their heads sprouting flower bouquets. What EV!
Luv going to the Museum of Natural History where one of our students (decades ago before me) was Malcolm McKenna retired Frick curator of vertebrate paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, He was head of vertebrate paleontology for many decades and has some dinosaurs named after him. We had a wonderful chat with the current curator there.

Getting ready to go to Texas near Austin to see the eclipse. Hoping for a brief break in the clouds at the appointed hour and no T-storm until later in the day.
Yup and prayers indeed for all who need healing.
