All day Wednesday I thought yesterday was Friday. Oh boy.

Glad they have at least found the girl, Sam. I always thought being a teenager was a very hard time of life for me. Hopefully, people find their way.

Gorgeous spring morning here, a bit chilly but sun is shining and birds are singing. Went for a nice walk in the forest yesterday around sunset. Saw some woodland wildflowers and heard peepers, owls and a coyote.

Going back to work on that piano again today. Mostly to make further adjustments to how the keys play. Plus I realized the work I did on adjusting the "bridle wires" was wrong, and have to do it again -- a third time. (This is definitely a learning experience. Good thing I'm not making a living at this work.) Meanwhile I ordered some "jack springs", tiny coil springs that go under the jacks that push the hammers, which needed to be replaced. They came, loose in a plastic bag all tangled together. 100 of them. Tiny wire coils. Spent an hour separating them and threading them onto bamboo skewers for safekeeping.

Tuesday I see the eye doc again to follow up on the floaters and flashes.

Heard DD is flying home soon from Hawaii for a bridal shower. I think we haven't seen her since before COVID. Will be nice to have her here for a few days.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Mornin' gents

Whew! Glad she is back home and safe for now, Sam.
Ouch Dave! Sounds like that will leave a mark! Thankfully when I face planted down in Tennessee when I was running the girls in a trial, I just got a few scratches on my face from falling into some prickers.
Tickle those ivories, Mike. Glad you are going to get to see your DD. You probably said this before, but why is she in Hawaii? Wanderlust?
I am so sorry it has gotten so acrimonious at the office for you, Steve. I think I would be punching holes in the wall or maybe getting arrested for assault and battery. The old me would say that there isn't anything wrong with your boss that a punch in the face wouldn't solve.
Got soaking wet dog training yesterday. My old rain gear wasn't so waterproof. In spite of the rain, it was a good day of training. Cranked up the heat in the truck when it was over to dry out. People in Starbucks tried not to stare when I went inside (no drive thru) to get my dark roast.
M has really gotten into preparing zero or low point dishes for me. It is really nice. So I felt really guilty when I got a bacon/egg/cheese on a muffin yesterday when I was trying to dry out.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Having to type this on my phone. The backspace, \, and enter keys on my laptop don’t work. This has gone on for weeks, but I have made them go by repeatedly punching them. Not this morning.

On the “old things breaking on me” front, my recliner broke last night, too. I can recline but not bring it back upright.

Guess I have a pretty great life when these are my weighty problems.

Sassy’s skin issue seems to be clearing up. Still a puzzler.

The last few days I have been wearing a jacket I bought in the 80s. I was wearing it when Rita and I met. Kind of cool to fit into it again.

    Good Morning

Dave, that is a heck of a NSV.

I just realized it is Friday, not Saturday. Surgeon follow up went well. Not much increase in my lifting allowance, probably not for another 2 months but some increase in my exercise. I still need to be careful of the spine and putting undo pressure on the disc which is still healing. Just 4 months to go. Next step is to ease off the little remaining Gabapentin I take. Heather was asked to come in today so I will be walking locally.

You all remind me of a saying a friend of mine has "what we have is rich folks problems", yes each one of us is blessed. In scheme of life our issues will not matter in years to come.
Right eye lasered yesterday, clearer, floaters should dissipate in coming days, recheck left in 3 months.

Sorry, meant to comment on Sassy's skin problem. Sounds like she had some king of irritation and then scratched at it. The "growth" may have been serum dried and caked into the hair. Glad it seems to be healing. Gentle cleansing with hibiclens (available OTC) should be helpful in any event.

Ouch Dave sorry about your face plant. Last time I tripped hiking I totally dislocated my little finger.
Sorry about Sassy but Lee has ideas.
Glad there is some progress Bill with the spine surgery and activity. Easy going I guess for now.
    Hang in there.
