Good Morning and Happy Friday My Fitness Family Of Beasts. You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great. So let's start the day of great and get our sweat on. Happy Saturday My Fitness Beasts. Let's remember to live in the moment, not in the past. We cannot change yesterday, we can only make the most of today and look with hope toward tomorrow. Everyday we get is a gift because yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not a guarantee. So let's make today count, now get out there and DO THE DAMN THING. on black friday of 2023, i bought a treadmill (a tiny walking pad) with a permanent 7% incline. we put caps on the feet so it was at 5%. at first i could usually do 8 minutes before some body part started to hurt. today, i did 40 minutes - that's up 32 minutes from six months ago. similar with my exercise bike - from around 12 to 15 minutes in 2022 to my first 75 minute ride yesterday. and all the weights in my lifting have at least doubled, some have tripled.
woohoo!
btw, i'm turning 67 next month and am coming back from several long-term injuries, so seeing measurable progress is quite inspiring to me!

Happy Thursday Beast's!! Remember not everyday and every decision we make in our fitness journey is perfect. But this I know.... Failure is good. It is fertilizer. Happy Friday Fitness Family. You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. @DVDBEASTMODE ... "It's easier to keep going then to start over." Ain't that the truth! I slipped last year and put on 31 pounds before I got a hold of myself. Since February I've dropped 20 and will soon get rid of the remaining 11.1

Love it! That's what I've been doing. Giving myself little goals that are doable and assessing how I did at the end of the day.0 -

Happy Hump Day My Family Of Fitness Beasts. The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desire brings weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat. Don't wish for it.. .work for it!
