    Good morning!

I have a Dr appointment this morning to get a mole removed. Should be routine.

We have a barred owl taking up residence in our yard. It sounds spooky at night.

Heat indexes approaching 110 today with real temp approaching 100. It seems way to early for that.

My former employer owes me at least one day pay. I didn't get it. Now I need to demand it. Always something.

We are trying to decide if we should sell my car. Carvana will pay us $13,000 for it. We have Connie's car and my truck. We're thinking about this.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning,
Got up early to take Pablo for morning walk before it gets too hot, made it about 1/2 mile before lighting and thunder started; headed home with just a few drops on us, it is raining now and already 75; upper 90's today with high humidity.
I've been considering selling either my Malibu or Toad, have not ridden Toad but five miles in last 9 months and only put 3,000 miles on Malibu in past year; guess I need to wait and see if DW can get back driving.
Hope Mike has a great time at DD's and camping, without air and warm showers and limited insects I'm not interested in camping,
Dave, hope you can get a friend to help you get rest of wood.
Bob, how far are you riding each day now?
Bill, pray gut stays settled down where you can get feeling better but believe you are going have to complete antibiotics and let them get out of system first.
Lee, talking about retirement, you are not that old and I believe you would get bored and insurance can be very costly,

    Good morning gentlemen.

If I had loved what I was doing, I might not have retired when I did. On the other hand, I was bored to death with my job. Health insurance has never been an issue, as an Army retiree.

The lady with the walnut tree is going to hold four logs I rolled aside, until my chainsaw is repaired. I should be able to get them in about a week. The weather forecast doesn't show any high heat, with temps in the 70s every day. That will help prevent splitting and cracks.

Grandkids went home with their parents after church, yesterday. House is back to normal, now. Sassy is a bit down. She misses her buddies.

    Good Morning

Steve, we went down to one car since mine was nearing the end of its life and having some problems. IT wasn’t a problem till Heather returned to work part time and I wouldn’t have a car during the day for errands. But you have your truck as well. Heather finishes up working again this week which eases that problem. It does take a bit of communication though to avoid conflicting plans. But that seems to happen rather naturally.

Our promised return to normal temps did not happen, we just missed 100. We did get out earlier to finish up most of the weeding and trimming in the back but we were exhausted from the heat without much shade. It also takes me longer because I am not supposed to bend and twist yet. Still a bit more to finish up but I can do that this week.

Never started packing yesterday, so started early this morning, will probably leave tomorrow morning. Lots of stuff when I camp—bicycle, canoe, solar panels for lithium batteries I use for CPAP, kitchen gear, tent and two tarps, one for the picnic table and one for the fireplace, etc. etc. etc.

Nice breeze and low 70’s today after humidity and tornado watch last night.

    Onward and downward.

Yikes Steve 100deg w 110deg heat index is tooooooooo much!!!
Sam: I have been riding about 12-15 miles every day. Longest day this year not much over 25 miles. With eye surgeries and radiation etc just not going that far.
We are in for great moderate weather here this week with highs mostly in the 70s with maybe a day or two just over 80 degrees. Suppose to be similar over the 4th of July week when we spend some time at the Oregon Coast and the young lady watering stuff wont need to show up except a couple of times.
