Good morning!
Bob, I hope that you have an awesome trip!
Today is supposed to be cool and nice! Today would be a perfect day to get a lot of work done outside. Connie, however, has been encouraging me to set aside Sunday as a total rest day. Decisions.....
I tried making pizza on the Traeger for the second time last night. It was a bust. I burned the bottom of it badly, and it was just not good. A true learning experience.
We bought some nice tomatoes at a farmer's market yesterday. Today will be BLTs for dinner. It will still be several weeks before we have our own tomatoes.
have a great day!0 -
Good Morning,
Year half gone.
Pablo has been out and about; 1.54 miles and I'm soaked with sweat from extreme humidity and heat.
Steve would greatly appreciate it if you would send cooler temps this way.
Cereal then bath then off to be churched.
Hope all have a GREAT day.

Good morning gentlemen.
Rough-turned two walnut bowls, yesterday, then finished a cherry salad bowl, with brass filling a knot. Productive morning. Then hung around with Rita all afternoon. Good day.
Many from our church will walk in the Pride Parade, today. Don't think we'll make this one. We'll just attend the worship service, which is at the same time. Maybe more shop time this afternoon.0 -
Good Morning
Temps will be heading north of 100 in a couple days so we are hoping to head to the County Fair today since we are only heading for 90 today. Hopefully my gut will cooperate more than it has lately. We haven’t made it to the fair for several years between Covid and Health stuff. Its right here in our town and this is our last chance to visit before we leave Pleasanton. Exhibits, critters, and horse racing will keep us busy. I will tempt fate and have our traditional Funnel Cake with Cinnamon sugar. We always share one as we leave the fairgrounds.0 -
Back from camping. Rained overnight, but otherwise fine weather. Short bike ride Thursday with DD and boys after I serviced their bikes. Fri. and Sat. got in two canoe trips in Nauset Bay marshes, with DS and his two boys, and then DD and her two boys. Were serenaded by a pack of seals. Did a hike yesterday, a mile and a half through national forest to the ocean, and then back. Made backpacking lasagna I dried last summer--not bad! Drove back today, took 5 hours with Cape Cod traffic and pit-stops.
Lee, God willing there will be a dedicated animal loving vet who will come aboard and be able to help where needed and see it as a career opportunity.
Dave, hike sounds like a real challenge. I still deal with my sore hip, though turmeric seems to allay that. Your mother's body now laid to rest, may her soul also forever be in peace.
Steve, good luck to Collin. Sounds like a great job for a guy.
Lots of unpacking to do, and have to dry tent and some gear when the weather clears.
Tomorrow I get a new CPAP machine.
