Good morning!
It is going to be hot and humid in Kansas today. At daylight, I am going to take my kayak out. I'm going to try to see if I can kayak and use my camera with telephoto lens, and keep the camera dry. I have a dry bag for the camera. I have done this once before with no problem.
I will also be working on detailing Connie's car today. My car will be next. We have not really cleaned the cars in months. After that, we start on cleaning out the garage. Ugh!
Connie has been fighting IBS, or some related problems. She has an appointment next Wednesday. It makes meal planning more challenging. I'm hoping that the doctor can figure out something better for her. She has type II diabetes, and this is just an added complication.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
Prayers for Connie and Bill for their gut issues. Maldigestion/malabsorption can be difficult and frustrating to diagnose and treat.
I'll bet even money that the naturalpathic guy is gonna start by advising you to cut out gluten, Bill.
Pablo probably saw the deer jumping the fence, so he's thinking "why not"?
I agree, Sam you are a machine. You just have a few wrenches in your works.
I need to get a dolly for our indoor/outdoor big potted plants. They are so handy for a lot of other things too.
Hot and muggy continues.
If you do the turkey burger from fresh ground turkey, get the higher fat grind. Whether you season before or after, Worcestershire sauce added before you smash 'em on the flat top helps with developing a nice brown crust.

Good morning gentlemen.
Got all of that heavy, wet, walnut cut loaded and hauled, yesterday. Now I need to do something with it. While watching me cut the logs at the limit of my chainsaw's capacity, Rita asked me why I don't just buy a bigger chainsaw. An invitation to buy another tool!
Enjoy the lake, Steve. It's going to be a hot one here, too, though with much less humidity, I imagine. We're looking at 99, today. The grandkids are coming over to break in the new Slip 'N Slide. They'll spend the night - always fun.0 -
Good Morning,
Pablo has had his walk, planted some basil, need to get bath now.
Continues HOT and HUMID, try to get outside stuff completed early as possible.
Reckon I'll need to drive DW to therapy later.
I have some furniture movers got from Harbor Freight, I put under larger plants where I can roll them in and out of house. Ming aralia is over 9' tall and in 30" pot, needs to be potted up but have not been able to find larger clay pot.
Steve, most doctors prescribe Metformin for type II diabetes and part of side effects is stomach and intestinal issues; they may need to find another medication for Connie.

Mornin'
Hot n humid here but not like GA or West coast or Kansas. Got up early and went for a hike 5AM while it was only 70º, though humid as heck.
Resurfacing more piano keys today.

Good Morning
Our temps are supposed to drop below 90 today which will be welcomed. I will get out for a walk in a little while. I spent most of yesterday in the kitchen. Slow cooked a pork shoulder for shredded pork and for the first time in a long time dug out an old bread recipe and made sandwich rolls. I rarely bake these last two years. I forgot how much I enjoy it. I forgot to call the Naturopath so I will need to do that today. If they recommend gluten free I will reject. I went gluten free for 4 most a few years ago at a Drs request and it made no difference. Besides eating bread is one way I can settle down my gut a bit, though I have stopped that. Slowly getting the moving process going.0
