Meeting a buddy at 6 to head off to the river and do some paddling. Need to find that can of bug spray...

Another hot one but cooling off this afternoon. Tomorrow will be working on the EX's piano again while she's off babysitting 3 of the GKs. I got all the yellowed, cracked keys bright and shiny looking and back in the piano, and next is regulating the dampers and the keydip, and some final tuning, and then see how it plays.

    Time to make the coffee.

    Mornin' gents.

"Slippery Elm Bark" sounds like it might have a laxative effect. False advertising?
M, DDIL, DGS, and old great dane/lab mix are arriving in Boston from Germany on Saturday. Gotta make sure house is clean before bringing M home.
Not sure how it happened, but after a 700+ day streak of logging onto MFP, I failed to log in on Monday? I was sure I did. Oh well. All streaks come to an end eventually.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

Cooler weather today. I hope to get some work done outside.

Connie didn't get a whole lot of answers yesterday, just some potential things ruled out. Now she gets to get both an upper and lower scope. Soonest she can get is in August. We have no recommendations on a diet for her.

We are having our first home grown tomato BLT sandwiches tonight. I will cook the bacon on the Traeger again. That was good!

No bike or kayak for a few days as I'm still getting past over heating I think.

    Have a great day!

Just an FYI...sprinkle a little montreal steak seasoning on your bacon when cooking in the pellet smoker. You won't regret it.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Hope all the gut issues clear up.

How did the hill walking go, Bill?

I trimmed and rough-turned another big walnut chunk, yesterday, with another on tap, this morning, I think. Might need to clear out the end of the shop where I work with my electric chainsaw, though. The sawdust and small cutoffs are getting pretty deep.

Love a good BLT, but the only time I cook bacon is when the grandkids ask for it. One of the things I just can't eat and still maintain my weight where I want it.

I am slowly learning that I do not need near the amount of food I eat. Comes down to establishing needs and wants.
    Bacon makes everything better.
Love Montreal steak seasoning, use on all meats.

    Good Morning

Bacon is a risky deal for some of us. Yesterdays walk was my best on yet. Steady uphill for almost a mile. I got to a point where I could turn and continue uphill or head down. I sort of remember these from my old hill runs. My cardiac recovery rate is pathetic and my HR was staying pretty high so I went downhill and then kept going till I hit 40 minutes pretty decent pace for me too.. No back spasms. Today Heather will join me for an easy (flat) walk for at least 2 miles. The downside to pushing the boundaries in the hills is that I am dragging the rest of the day.

Opposite of Steve here. Well Tomatoes will be a late crop for sure. Tons of raspberries and tons of blueberries for sure.
So sorry about Conie's issues Steve. Not even close to homegrown BLT's here yet. This is the first year in forever I haven't managed to coax a ripe tomato before the 4th of July or by mid july at the latest. HRMPH

Oh Lee I love Montreal Steak Seasoning.
    Stay comfy all.
