Lots of rain and serious flooding a couple of areas nearby. Got alerts on my phone yesterday afternoon and evening to not travel unless trying to escape flooding.

Good morning BBB friends,
In bed and asleep by 8pm, up by 5am. 9 straight hours!
I was tired after a good lake weekend. I got my first mow on both lake lots done yesterday, with our new to us $500 rider. Great deal! Worth 3x that! It's so much nicer than the old one that came with our most recent lake lot purchase. Dh trimmed with the push mower. We make a good team. And now the yard work is done at lake for 2 or 3 weeks! We were back at our full time homestead by 5pm. Ds2 and co. are coming to lake Thur to Sunday next week. I got him a fishing charter day, for his recent birthday on a nearby larger lake called Lake Petenwell. He and his buddy are going Friday 7am to 3pm. Ddil, dgd and I plan to spend day together. Dh will come after his work day on Friday.
Is dw's eye is better, Sam?

68F here this morning and I have all the doors and some windows open. Looks like a warm up and the week looks great too, hotter and dry!
How'd the Wisc move go Kelly? Hope we can connect one of these next visits!?!

But it's a dry heat, Lou. Right?
Rita has some routine tests at the hospital this morning, then we have banking to do. Last night we stopped at a local tribal casino to pick up a free gift and Rita hit a large jackpot - a really large jackpot. Large enough that we had a security escort to the car when we left, and carefully checked to ensure we weren't followed. She'll put it in a CD for now.
I'll try to get in a bike ride this afternoon.1 -

Wow Rita...congrats.
We are at the subaru dealership getting and oil change and 1200 mile inspection. I'm sure they will have something they want to upsell us. Then a stop at costco for gas ( way cheaper in US vs MX) and will hit the ATM again for a bit more cash.
Here is our stash of goodies. Mostly 6 months worth of snacks for Ron, a few paper goods and farrow. We also bought new tennis shoes and a new firestick. Anything we can buy in MX we do but a few things just aren't easy to come by. If we get searched at the border we will have to pay 18% tax but likely we will just get waved thru since we aren't loaded to the gills.
