Yep, it was Reacher. Interesting the huge difference in the character in the novel and the character played by Tom Cruise in the movies. Not the same guy, at all.
And yep, corporate vet med and online pharmacies are doing their best to ruin the profession. Me and my team struggle daily to provide good quality AFFORDABLE care to our clients and patients, whilst trying to maintain our sanity.
Our 34 yr old supervisor was there yesterday for the "big reveal" of Ellie labs, and a very nice 26 yr old gal from Milwaukee gave the presentation. Then the "sup" had to get out the way while we had an emergency C-sec show up. He got to see us still manage scheduled afternoon appointments and perform emergency surgery without having to cancel appointments. He is actually a good kid, and he is going to set up a surgical referral system for me from other hospitals.

Cool temps this morning here, but climbing thru weekend to 90s hot and humid!
It's my Friday and my dgs and family are spending the weekend with us at the lake! Baby boy was not on board with wearing his life jacket last time, at all. He also wasn't feeling well at all. It cuts into his chin at the zipper, ugh. We got a different one, he still fussed. So no boat rides for him. Hope this time he cooperates and we can all go out on the boat together .

- Outstanding motorbike ride yesterday. About 200 miles and a stop at our favorite BBQ joint. Life is Good!
- We have a jazz concert this evening covering Charlie Parkie music.
- We are packing up today for a trip up to Dayton, OH tomorrow. DW will be visiting with her sister, and I am meeting up with 5 guys I was stationed with at Rhein Main Air Base back in the 70s. We'll be touring the Air Musuem at Wright-Patterson AFB.
- Skip, they opened up a new 'Coffee Train' here that knows how to serve everything but a regular cup of coffee. Go figure.

I agree about 6, that is why I missed Emmaus group this morning, would have required me to be up at 6 to bathe and dress for 7 a.m. breakfast; I can't get ready as fast not using left arm.

Corporate buys effective and profitable business then puts restraints on business in name of making more money. overall corporate does not understand business yet will follow textbooks from business classes taught by professors who have never run a business. Thats the current culture of business.

Morning BBB
Our little beach town is SO quiet this week. Many restaurants and bars are closed, for vacation and renovation until Labor Day weekend. It's kinda nice.
We have a pottery class later this morning and expat happy hour this afternoon.
Ron is taking the pantry cleanout seriously...I think he had 3 gin and tonics while I took a nap...he had an early night.
