Well shucks. DW has found a wee 5 acre farm with a neat 3 bed 2 bath house and a chicken coop in Colorado Springs. We are going to make an offer.
Deep breath. I hate moving, but this means being close to DGS. I may stay in CT until I qualify for medicare.

We have the air duct cleaners coming in this afternoon for the first time since I had them done when I moved here. If the registers are any indication, they're going to earn their check today.0 -

Wow Lee, a hobby farm for 2 retired vets close to their family and dgs sounds perfect! Talk about making some new memories!! Exciting! How long have you all been east coasters?
I'm back in my home office working. Had a fun ladies weekend at the lake. I heard dh come in at 1230a from Vegas trip and was gone before I awoke at 6am for work. I'm Awaiting the cable company to come switch out the cable box and cords. I think that's our "no sound" issues. Really haven't missed tv in the great room, so thinking we should just cancel cable TV entirely soon.
Dr appt late today routine labs, second shingles shot....

Colorado Springs area is lovely. And having grandparents near is a huge blessing for a kid. It's a shame the US health insurance world is so backwards.
Heading to guaymas today. We are going to join the gym there. Ron prefers it to the one here in town and the crossfire place we stopped at the other day. I like it's proximity to Sam's and walmart. I can get my workout in and get groceries if needed on one trip.0 -

- Motorbike trip for this week has been canx.

With DS in Air Force he is subject to move at anytime: are you and DW going to follow him around and when other son gets married and has a child is one going to follow him? Just asking.
Could not get reservation where we wanted to eat till Thursday, but all will work out.
Yes working for a living can be a real pain; some of us have already paid our dues; but at times would swap some years for youth and health. But fear not retirement will arrive quicker than most believe.0
