    Good morning.

We had a nice little storm roll through last night - an hour after the lady who waters everything here finished up. We're supposed to get cooler mornings in the 60's but still climb into the 90's during the day. So it's like wear a sweater in the morning and regret it in the afternoon weather here.

    Good Morning,
From wet and damp Tennessee, looks as it will be wet balance of week, and we will be traveling home in storm Friday.
DGD says she has gotten Pablo where he is no longer jumping on folks, she has done better than paid trainer.
Hope all get a great hump in.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Had a great time on a hard hike yesterday. "Only" 12.4 miles, but a really steep 3,600-foot climb thrown in there. Now I have to knuckle down and get things done before we head to Vegas on Monday. Banking and shopping to do, today.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Lou, we need to get you a sweater with buttons. I have a lightweight fleece jacket for such occasions.
    • DW is at the grocery store buying provisions before the storm hits.
    • Sounds like a nice walkabout Dave.
    • Mary, did you the TV sound issue resolved?

    Morning gang.

Went for a decent hike yesterday right from our condo. Looks like it kept going as a loop but we had an appointment so did an out and back in case we couldn't get thru. Will try again another day.

Looked at a house. It was beautiful, brand new with new Mexico charm, super kitchen and big TV. But the view could only be seen from the outside patio and it backed to pickles all courts so it's off the list. I can't even imaging being woken up to dozens of bouncing balls at 7am.

The agent that manages the house we are most interested in finally got back to me yesterday so hopefully we can see that this week too. Today we are going to the biggest condo complex. The units they rent with the snowbird discount are all on the 1st and 2nd floor(dealbreaker) but she agreed to show me a few others. Didn't quote a price and they are over 10k/month on Airbnb but want to see the complex, gym and amenities. There is one unit in casago that is in our price range and approximately the right dates.

Ron's dad and girlfriend are moving into a assisted living apartment together. She is selling her house but he didn't say if he was selling his. I'm glad for them...it will be nice to have the help as neither has family in Florida. They both have multiple pensions so "bought" into the penthouse unit. It was about 100k with monthly of between $2-3k depending on level of care. I think that seems super reasonable for food, activities and transportation services.

Prayers for those in the path of hurricane Helena.

Steph. Yep, those pickleballs are loud!!
Good luck finding a place. Good for Ron’s dad too. Sounds like a good setup for them.
