    GM~
    • Steph....sounds amazing! Hope it comes together for you both!
    • Appt with Ortho didn't work out. He was in Emergency Surgery. Do have more tests ordered by PA
    • Kelly - yikes! Hope you feel okay. C'oscopy is a piece of cake. Mostly hype. Painless and you get a good nap from it too. Good luck!
    • Spoils from Napa Cakebread arrived Wednesday: Pristinely packed and perfect.
    • Spoils from Napa Silver Oak arrived last night leaving grape juice stains on floor from door to counter! 2 bottles broken. What a mess. Looks like it was packed by anyone other than a wine pro! Though S/Oak is replacing the WHOLE order for free. Fingers crossed. That was expensive vino!
    • DF arrives tonight. Likely in a bad mood from the airports and flights. Bracing myself.
    • Doc - hows the offer for the CO homestead coming? M~ get her way?

    Good morning.

I had a bottle of bourbon shipped recently, Skip. It came in this elaborate bubble wrap thing.

Staff outing yesterday was bowling and laser tag at a Dave & Busters type place. Our bowling team came in 2nd and I was 4th out of 20 in laser tag.

    Mornin' BBB

    Spilled spoils :'(
Offer accepted and closing on Oct 25.
One thing nobody mentioned about Monument is that is gets an absurd amount of snowfall. 110 inches a year! Supposedly it is mostly in the spring, so it falls and then bakes off quickly.
We will be residing on Doolittle Rd. I have often been referred to as "Dr Doolittle", so I guess it was always meant to be. How does Doolittle Vet Clinic sound? Or maybe Pushmi-pullyu Vet Clinic? Think people will get it, Lou?
C'oscopies are always a joy. A necessary evil, though.
    Fingers crossed for you, Steph.
Floridians and those directly north of the big bend are feeling it today. Helene is wreaking havoc.

    Good morning

Congrats Lee and family. Get those snow shoes out! Wait! Vet clinic names? Thought retirement was in the near future for you?

Saw the Beautiful China lights exhibition last night with dgs and family. Very nice

Today I'm working and packing for lake. Just dh and I for a needed change. Some R & R before we start closing for winter.

Hope Sam got back home safely.

Good news Kelly on the medical front

Enjoy your Dads visit Skip. Time together is at a premium.

    Have a good day everyone!

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • We survived Helene. Eye of the hurricane went over us around 6am. Actually, it was a tropical storm at the time. Interestingly we were better off than Atlanta west of us and Augusta east of us who got a lot more rain. Apparently, Asheville, NC is going to have a lot of flooding.
    • Doolittle Rd looks like a good place for a Vet and Motorbike Resort.
    • Skip, tell me you didn't lick the box.
    • I have a desire to winter in Mexico now.
    • Enjoy fall at the lake Mary.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Glad you got through the storm OK, Dennis. Hope Sam did too.

Congratulations on the new homestead, Lee. We'll look forward to all the news as you make the move.

Rain here, today. We average 10 inches of snow, across 6 days per winter. Some winters we get none at all.

Glad that you in the path of the storm are ok. We’re getting rain here in Indiana. Much needed rain.

    Congratulations Lee!!!!

    Good Afternoon,
Left Gatlinburg TN this morning at 7, pass over mountain closed, two alternate ways blocked due to flooding. took over 6 1/2 hours to get home. Normally 151 miles with detours 314 miles.
Winery should replace broken bottles, last time I had some shipped and some was broken they did; of course that was many years ago.
Me thinks 110 inches of snow is a bit much for me as well as cold.
