- Well, is it a faux pas or rude to take your houseguest to the airport 2 days prior to their flight? (Asking for a frustrated friend)!
- DF came to an event in our 'hood last night and "woof'd!" at one of older ladies and asked, "you look better than anything on the dessert table!" SMH! I guess being married 5 times gives you some confident swagger. I find it insulting and plain uncouth! Ugh.....

Randy geriatric Marine. Can't take 'em anywhere. I would have liked to been a fly on the wall. Glad I didn't have to make excuses for his behavior, though. I'm sure it was a bit embarrassing.
Going down all kinds of rabbit holes researching homeowner stuff in Monument area. Not an inexpensive spot. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to have a detached hobby garage built with dog kennels off the side.

Rita's MRI went fine. Now we have to wait to hear about the results.
Relaxing day otherwise. Watched some football (wild game in Tuscaloosa, good result in Rose Bowl). Worked in the shop. Played with dog.
Sassy is too smart. She has picked up from our conversations that we are planning a trip and is already acting sad. She'll really hang her head when we pack suitcases this afternoon.0 -

Lee my BIL is a salesman for Gingerich structures. They build high quality post and beam buildings. I 'think' they go as far west as Colorado ( his territory is most of southern nebraska) he has been with them for a long time, back when there was only 8 employees.
Today is a little cooler and overcast so we are heading out for a bike ride soon. Then there is a art market at the Plaza.
We saw a house yesterday. It had a weird layout but amazing outdoor space and a mountain view. It's a little high priced IMO but an option. The RE guy said he will have a few more options for us later this week. One, based on photos, is Ron's favorite but the owners haven't decided what ,I the they want to use it. One isn't finished yet but will be ready to walk thru next week and will be fully furnished by end of year.

I went waking in the new shoes I got in DC and determined that they're not going to work for the Italy trip. So now I'm trying out the shoes Cecilia had me buy a year ago to see if they're any better suited to the task.
We're going to see a play this afternoon and then have dinner somewhere in the city after that, so no nap on the horizon today.0 -

. I worked sound at our old downtown campus this morning. I don't normally do sound but they were desperate. I did okay.
. A man can never have enough garage space.
. The Dawgs had a good 2nd half. Unfortunately it wasn't good enough to make up for a terrible 1st half.

Last boat ride of the season. So sad. I'm driving the truck w/ trailer in 15min to meet dh with the boat at the launch to trailer up. Then heading home soon.
Good luck finding a next place Steph. The photos on fb are beautiful!
