    I would like to introduce myself, I was active with MFP a number of years ago with great success and have been able to maintain my weight fairly well over the past number of years. Although I would like to lose a few pounds, my main goal is to get my cholesterol levels down without statins. I have embarked on this journey by getting a nutritionist to help me with my diet, and a fitness coach to make my workout more productive. I have been transitioning to this new routine, and was hoping that joining the MFP community again would help with motivation. It appears that they have moved the daily newsfeed, or changed it, if anyone could direct me to it, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Gosh I am far behind my week from 10/21 to today has been busy poor news on my moms Alzheimer’s seems to be approaching stage 4. Bless my dad he keeps her home true soul mates.

    My exercise is happening but not at the intensity I would have liked, food choices are still mindful but are leaving room for improvement. I can say very little junk food which is good will try again tomorrow.

    Welcome @Interbeing Unfortunately, the newsfeed is completely gone now. For some reason MFP decided it wasn't worth keeping.

    @Interbeing , sorry the newsfeed is gone. You missed all the weeping, wailing, and tearing of hair.

    So , the best way to get support now is to jump into a group or two and get the support. Welcome !

    My dance weekend was so wonderful!
    We danced on Friday and Saturday for hours and hours.

    Wow! I wrote this, and saved the draft , but never posted it. So that was last week.

    OMG! I Suddenly realized I haven’t been posting my bad. Even without it, I have been able to remember my sticky note from the middle of the month. Wise choices, get moving, make sure to check in that’s where I slacked. Overall, with all the chaos this month I think I’ve done well. I plan to move forward with this thought process in November as we approach the two months of the year that can be the most challenging for everyone. Wishing everyone the best of luck in the next coming months.

    @macrat12 , that’s great consistency!

    @snowshoe072 sounds like a solid win!

    I’ve been slacking off on posting. I’m feeling awfully overwhelmed with day to day life, but I’ve stuck with my healthy habits.

    I’m calling October a complete win. The weather is finally cooling off, so I’m getting in more walking. I continued my daily meditation, only missing one day.

    Totals for October 61 miles on bike, 142 miles on foot, 18 strength workout days, Yoga most days. Lots and lots of dancing, including a complete night of calling the some challenging dances and a wonderful dance weekend with my sister.

    Thanks all for the welcome to the group. I have certainly missed the simplicity of the old newsfeed, but it is what it is. I do like the improvement in logging and report generation overall. So far so good, I have been consistent for the past 15 days, and lost just over 6 lbs. I am going in to get my blood work done to get a baseline on my cholesterol levels next week. It would have been nice to get it two weeks ago when I started, but my insurance only allows a test within two weeks of a physician visit. Anyway, looking forward to the coming weeks, and wish everyone a wonderful weekend!

    Wow! That’s an amazing weight loss @Interbeing ! I just got my bloodwork results and was disappointed that my bad cholesterol was up, but my husband’s (who doesn’t watch his diet at all) was down.

    I am looking forward to my first bone scan, hoping all this exercise shows up there.
