- C'mon, weekend! Looking forward to a Stevie Nicks tribute concert that got rave reviews!
- #FrEdDIe continues to make historical records. Despite the loss for LAD, its been fun to watch Freeman!
- Forgot this weekend is DST for clocks. Ugh. I hate the dark earlier!
- Lou, are you packed (rhetorical/sarcasm) - have a great trip tomorrow.
Cheers,

Good morning
The Yanks avoid the sweep, M and Lee had a good night, I'm sure!
Have a wonderful trip Lou and Cecelia!
After a week of being here without having any...Why, last night, did I open the candy for tomorrow's trick or treat? Snickers, Kit Kat, peanut MMs. Then went back in for a 1000 Grand, havent had one of those in years. Least they were mini sized. Sighhhhh
Continued 80's today with strong winds.
I need some live music dates with DH this winter!
Have a great day BBB!

Mornin' BBB
Why they keep pitching to Freeman, I do not know. That guy is insanely hot right now. Fell asleep when the score was 5-4. Woke up a little nervous about the end result. Happy day! M is in a good mood (yay!). Got to see the Volpe grand salami. LOVED it. Good for him.
Safe travels, Lou and Cecelia.
Skip, it is genetic for Lou (or tribal?).
I like DST. Light in the morning is more important to me than late light. I know many feel strongly the other way.
The old Maytag front loader lasted over 20 years. New one is staying in CT. We will be maintaining two homes for at least another year.

Good morning
I’m up and out early once again in to dog sit.
I’m having the same weather as Mary. Unseasonably warm yesterday. We hosted Bible study and I had to open windows before everyone came which in turn meant I had to wash out every sill. It never ends!!
Lee, DH will most likely move within 2 years. He has mandatory retirement in one year. Who knows? We don’t see the boys much so if I move happens, it will be north.
Ds1 is narrowing in on a venue for their wedding.
Safe travels to Lou and Cecelia.
I guess the headache is gone skip?
Make it a marvelous day!!0 -
Good morning.
One more sleep and I'm on VACATION!
I had to buy a washer for Mom and Dad's house back in March when their 18 y/o machine gave up the ghost and my brother was still living there with the boys. Nothing is made well anymore
You know it gets colder the further north you go, right Kelly? I'd recommend moving south to a hub airport city and one-hop your visits instead.

Good morning BBB friends.
Our front-loading washer and dryer are 22 years old. I still think of them as the "new" ones. People have been saying "nothing is made to last anymore" for as long as I can remember.
Rainy day, here in Tumwater. Looks like an indoor kind of day. Rita jumped into getting ready for the annual holiday bazaar I sell at. She laid out all the wood turnings that have piled up. Amazing how much stuff there is. Today, she wants us to price and label everything - or at least get a start on that. The sale isn't until Nov. 16.0 -
Dave that's because she is looking at sales and what she wants; don't you split proceeds with Rita?
Lou and Cecelia, hope you have a wonderful trip!
A son is a son till he takes a wife a daughter is a daughter for the rest of life. In other words, relationship with son and family is determined by DDIL generally.
Candy for trick or treaters is in pantry out of site, so I'm not tempted to get into it.
Subbing at school tomorrow,
Haircut this afternoon.

Morning gang
I feel ya Mary. I tended to not buy Halloween candy until the day of. I have no willpower against little candy bars. When the night was over I'd put a couple of snickers in the freezer and the rest in the car so Ron would take to work. Otherwise I'd eat the rest in a matter of days.
Here there are a few trunk or treat events but mostly parties at bars. We plan to stay home tomorrow but tonight is the pet costume contest at the brewery so we plan to go to that.
The house we saw yesterday was great. The price is good and all the features we want. It Wasn't a "he77 yes" but now we need to decide if we are staying January/February or moving on. We are on the fence. We have already made some friends here and February is when the whales migrate nearby which would be an amazing experience but I'm so happy Ron is feeling up to moving that we should probably just go.
Safe travel Lou. Can't wait to hear all about it.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- Yep, the Yankees came alive last night but only after Freddie did his thing.
- I agree with Lou's moving assessment. Would you really want to move North in retirement? Then again, my idea of way up north is Chattanooga.
- Glad to hear things are looking brighter for Ron.
- Trick or treat is a nonevent in a 55+ community.
- So Lee, is Colorado still on? Last I heard the seller was being unreasonable.
- Have a great trip, Lou.

Again, Happy Birthday Dennis! May your trip around the sun be a wonderful one, with many more!
Wisconsin is north of Indy. Just saying, as we'd love to have the Moody's closer!!!
Skip, sometimes high blood causes headaches. How is your bp?0 -
