Up early to get M to the airport. Colorado and DGS bound. She has already purchased a new RAV4 out there and will stay at an AirBNB so she doesn't upset any applecarts with the kids. Mainly starting with getting the house furnished, but is promised some DGS time.
Heading to work afterwards. Then a house call.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

It it exciting to read about you guys that are moving! In some ways, I am envious. We have lived in this house since 1996, and as long as Connie is alive, we won't move. This house has too strong of a physical connection to Jacob. The house is paid for, and it is a nice house. I don't really mind if we could travel a bit.

We are expecting a rainy weekend. I will be getting some inside chores done today.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Rainy here, too. That's OK. Ducks are playing in The Big House, so I will spend the afternoon watching, anyway.

Rita would love to move. I'm the one who wants to stay in the same place forever. I have lived in this house longer than anywhere in my life - 23 years. I like the stability of it all.

    Mornin’

Spent the morning yesterday bending damper wires in the piano, and the afternoon bending damper spoons. (Yes, spoons) Eventually had to remove the entire action mechanism and work on it on a table, which proved much easier. End result was satisfactory, although I still am puzzled how some of it turned out. Hoping to learn to do this reliably and quickly. Slow process…

Bill, you are a gift to your mom. Godspeed.

Thanks for the encouragement to hike the mountain regularly. I think the higher aerobic level of steep hills is a big plus I don’t get from easier walking/hiking. Both are good of course. I find the climbing also is a great stress reliever.

I nap a lot. But I find if I am busy, not sitting down a lot, outdoors in daylight, it all helps me not nap, and at night I’ll sleep more soundly. Of course I don’t have a dog waking me at 4:30…

Lots of brush fires in Mass lately. Weather incredible dry for a long while. Yesterday we had high winds and they were on high alert. Haven’t heard of any forest fires.

    Have a great day.

    Good Morning

It sounds like there is a happy Grandma in Colorado

Slept like a rock last night. It has been a while. I saw my Mom. My sister told her who I was before I went in. She and her hearing aids don’t get along so a lot of very load talking. Doing well food wise I think. Just keeping focused and making the better choice.

    Good Evening,
Went back to old hood from 19 years ago, old church had a band that played hits from 50's and 60's and a chili cookoff. Lots of fun plus got to see some really good old friends and chance to catchup. Have known some 72 years.
We could use some rain, please send this way Dave and Steve
